My daughter has a sensory issue with water that requires a one piece swimsuit. I got this one because it is one piece. While I wasn't fond of the ruffles, it didn't bother me and I took a risk in purchasing.Upon receipt, I noticed the material was bulky and heavy. They use double the material, so it feels like you have two swimsuits on. As a result, it is bulky and a little heavy, especially for a toddler. I gave it the benefit of the doubt. When my kid got out of the water, I noticed how much water the suit retained and how heavy it was. I couldn't do that to my kids. The only thing I liked about it was that it was one piece, the zipper, and the design (except the ruffles). I ended up finding a nice, light and fitting swimsuit and Macy's.

My daughter does water play at school, and I found this swimsuit perfect for the job. Not to mention she loves the unicorn print. It provides modist covering, unlike standard suits, which are perfect for water sports. The sizing is right on point, which is always a hesitation regarding online purchases.

I do love this and I also love the fact she can play and swim without exposing herself too much in public and around strangers. Super cute and didn't notice at first but also has Dachshunds designed on the fabric.
