Daewoo SDA1194 Egg Boiler/Poacher, Black/Stainless Steel

The measuring cup overall is pretty good to get your eggs more or less as you like them. There is a little trial and error until your eggs are cooking consistently to your taste. You need to be mindfulof the egg their size and if you are keeping them in a fridge or not. This will change how they cook with the water you use. But it is not rocket science, it does not take many attempts to start getting your eggs cooked the way you like them. The instructions are quick and straight forward. I only boil eggs with mine.

Works as it should, good value..but its stopped working after 2 uses.

This is a great little egg boiler, it was to replace one i have had for many years and gave great service until it literally wore out.The new one does the same job but unfortunately its missing any form of warning when the eggs are cooked, i have now realised how useful the Buzzer was on the old one alerting me to the fact the eggs are ready, the new one i have found i have to hang around the kitchen until its finished, add a buzzer to this boiler and its 5 star.

Easy to use works exactly as described and as you would expect , handy size for easy storage

Worked great first time used, best soft boiled eggs I could have hoped for, came to use it the second time it would not turn on. Expected it to work, didn't work, thought it might be the fuse. During these times I had to find somewhere to get a 3 amp fire from ended up having to pay £10 in taxi fares just to get a 59p fuse because only major DIY stores are still open and it still didn't work. Was told I would get a replacement sent out and they have only sent a lid which is no good as the egg cooker doesn't work!

Perfect poached eggs, haven't tried boiled eggs yet.Easy to clean, compact (ideal for one person ) !You do need to keep instructions as you will forgetThe only 'fault' I've found is the markings on measuring cup are not very easy to read,could be clearer. I've marked it with a pen.

Reasonable. We've had an old egg cooker for a long time which died. Time for a new one.Cheap, but does the job. Doesn't have a buzzer, which our old one had, so you need to pay attention for the "click" when it's finished, otherwise your soft boiled will cook longer than you want from their own heat. No problem for hard boiled. Metal lid gets hot from steam. Can't wind up the power cable (could hide it in the base of our old one) which makes it a bit bulkier in the cupboard.Didn't try the other functions.Pretty good job for less than £12.

Great looking. Clean looking. Easy to use. The poached eggs taste fabulous. Easy to get the yolk you want for boiled eggs. Totally. Recommend.
