Excellent book to learn about Cyber Security Threats and Mitigation Strategies
In the last few weeks I was reading up this book "Cybersecurity Threats, Malware Trends, and Strategies" authored by Tim Rains and published by Packt.This book serves as an ideal guide for risk mitigation strategies for modern cyber threats facing an organization.The author takes the users on a progressive journey by introducing the concepts of initial compromise and importance of cyber security fundamentals. The criticality of cyber threat intelligence is emphasized and a short primer on vulnerability management along with recent trends is provided.The evolution of malware and Internet-based threats are discussed in detail to set the context for the readers to understand cyber security strategy, key elements and implementation steps with insights into how to measure performance and effectiveness. The book concludes with a lowdown on approaches to security & compliance including the cloud.Written in easy to follow language, any lay user will find the book an easy read. This book is prolific in terms of case studies and some excerpts from this book showcasing what are important aspects of a netwok in an enterprise and business and what should be given utmost priority a mind boggling book in terms of python for security space.

Must have Cybersecurity Book
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Tim Rains and Meghal Patel for allowing me to review and share my thoughts about the book “Cybersecurity Threats, Malware Trends and Strategy”.There are very few books that cover almost every facets of Cybersecurity. This book by Tim Rains is one of them. Being working in the professional Cybersecurity industry for close to 13 years, I can say it has covered almost everything from Cyber Threat Intelligence, modernisation of cyber kill chain, role of government in different regulations, privacy policy, risk management, cost benefits analysis and my favourite creating the Cybersecurity Strategy
