Great compact heat gun that packs a punch!
I purchased this, and a “TDAGRO Heat Gun for crafting 1800W” together. My thinking was to use the larger one for larger jobs, and this one for small, shrink wrap type jobs. I have had them both for well over a year, and I have yet to take the TDAGRO out of the box! This little guy is so perfect for any job! It’s small, so you can hold it almost like a pen, it’s powerful, able to handle even larger jobs with ease! I was really surprised at how hot it got on the high setting! For a little guy, it works amazingly! It’s design is also surprisingly comfortable at high heat. Obviously the metal tip gets hot; red hot! But the handle holds the heat well, and it doesn’t get too hot, like many other heat guns do.As for speed (going by Amazon’s suggestions lol), it’s a bit slow when you turn it on. It takes about 30 seconds to a minute before getting to full temp. That was kind of expected, however. I didn’t even think it would get as hot as it did!Very cool little heat gun, and I highly recommend it for your small, AND large projects!

Glad I purchased this gun
This heat gun works very nice and had a good price for me. What I really like about this gun, is that it has a shut off when the gun is getting overheated protecting from burning out the gun. My last heat gun did not have this safety feature and it over heated and died. I don't worry about that now with this gun. It is light weight, and easy to use.

Excellent and works very well
So I needed to remove the tint off my front windshield. The last time I did the sides I tore the tint off and there was 2 hrs of removing glue. I sorted thru and found this heat gun and gave it a try. This gun is a little larger than others, but that ok because it has a nice grip. 2 speeds and the adjustable heat setting, big plus. I fired it up and started in the right corner of my windshield and after 2 mins was able to peel the tint off WITHOUT leaving the glue on the windshield. Took about 45 mins and it worked great, little sections at a time and it heated the paper real fast (it was below 32 degrees out). This a a great heat gun and does the job of the $100 + guns. For the money, it's a really nice product and i wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

Easy enough
I'm not an expert in drying tech, so consider this a layman's opinion. I needed a heat gun to apply heat to a cell phone and loosen the glue holding the back of the phone on. If you check the Internet you'll see all kinds of videos from kids that do this sort of do-it-yourself repair on their devices. It beats paying to upgrade when you don't want to, and I like the idea of not giving into the phone companies that have decided they're not going to make it easy to keep your existing phone.Anyway, since it was my first time doing this I went really slowly and started at the lowest heat setting. I like that this device comes with a dial to modify the heat level. The rocker switch in the handle also lets you choose between to speeds of air.Yes, it's sort of a glorified hair dryer, but I'll take it and not have to bug family members to borrow their items. Anyway, the project was successful; I was able to heat up the phone safely and eventually pry off the back and replace the battery. If I had any concern, it was that the documentation claims the heat gun goes from 112 F at the low dial setting and low speed fan and escalates from there. Supposedly this starting temp is sufficient to restore viscosity to the glue. But I found I had to raise the dial to about 4 before the back of the phone started loosening up enough for me to get a pry tool into it. It would indicate this heat gun may not be quite as strong as advertised, but it does work and probably would be sufficient for most purposes. It was also very affordable so I plan to keep it.

Great for electronic work
This is a great go-to tool for electronics work. It's an ideal temperature for melting heat shrink tube and softening adhesives on electronics. The form factor is also easier to work with than the 90-degree hair dryer style ones.

Works Very Well + Great Value
MUCH better than my wife's old hair dryer I've been using for years. Used it recently to install some car accessories that had adhesion tape. Everything is holding due to heating the tape (per install instructions). Inside and outside of the car.
