PodiuMax Large Soccer Magnetic Coaching Board, 16" x 12" Clipboard Tactical Magnetic Board Kit with Dry Erase, Marker Pen

Perfect item to help with coaching soccer teams. Only concern is for the markers, they work well, but do not last as long as I would have hoped for... Not sure how to order an original replacement. Also the yellow marker is hard to see in high light environment. Would perfer to use a red marker to distinguish the differnce in teams.

This was a nice product, but having personal experience lugging a lot of stuff to and from my car to the park for soccer and flag football games, this set is rather large and bulky to take with me every week. It would also be impractical to carry around so the only time you could use it is when the kids are not on the field which constrains the usefulness of a whiteboard at practice or at a game.I do like the two options for half field and full field top view. The only downside to the layout of the whiteboards is that it showed a regulation soccer field vice a soccer field for younger kids - which was the purpose for me getting this item. Field position can be a difficult concept to understand and being able to lay it out really helps.The magnets are a really nice touch, too. The eraser had no magnet so it would get lost almost immediately.

I got the PodiuMax Large Magnetic Soccer Dry Erase Coach Board to use with my team to help them visualize players positioning and how play unfold on the soccer pitch. I found the board useful during training sessions to demonstrate training activities and scrimmage feedback.The main selling point of the board was the magnetic pieces which allows me to quickly layout formations and situations of the field and even move the pieces to show how a play developed. The ability to use the dry erase marker to indicate motion of the pieces is also useful.The large size, 12" x 16", is both a pro and con. The pro is that it makes it easy for players to see even if they are not directly at the board. The con is that it does not fit well into my standard coaching bags, so I find I do not bring it to all my sessions or games. The magnetic player pieces are adequate, but the magnets are no particularly strong and I find pieces moving or falling off is the board is moved or passed around. I also put the pieces i plastic bags inside the fold-up board because otherwise individual pieces tend to fall out and get lost.I like the PodiuMax Large Magnetic Soccer Dry Erase Coach Board and continue to use it regularly.

I had to change my review from 1 to 5 stars. I had a replacement within a couple days and have had no problems with the new one!Their customer service is top notch. I have their rebounder. I coach 4 teams. I use the rebounder in goal as well for individual development. What they offer has really helped me to manage and develop my players!

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for the perfect board with strong magnets and storage. This looks good on paper and seemed to be a quality product. It is quality made but inconvenient, I can’t storage rosters or papers as there’s a gap where things fall through, maybe a clip to hold papers would’ve solved the problem. Magnets are not strong enough, I would definitely lose the markers/eraser. Really disappointed as I can’t find one that would do the simple job I want them to do.

Recommended for any level soccer coach

I bought this for the 9U soccer team that I'm coaching so that I could explain some of the plays, rules, and strategy. For that purpose I think it will fit the bill.What's great about it:- It's solidly build, albeit a bit heavy. I'm definitely not too concerned about breaking it.- It comes with 2 dry erase markers. At first I thought one of them was dried out but it came back to life after a bit of use.- It comes with a number of magnetic pieces that you can use for illustrating plays. There are 2 sets of numbered pieces, from 1-30 in different colors. Mine were yellow and blue, which is different than what the pictures show (as of 3/2/2023). The numbered pieces. soccer balls, flag, and whistle pieces should help illustrate almost any situation.Things that could be better:- The product description includes the word "clipboard" but it is not a clipboard. There is no clip. I wish it came with this so that it could be used as a clipboard.- I wish the product came with some internal storage. With all the little pieces it comes with, it's only a matter of time before I lose a good number of them.All that said, it meets my needs. YMMV.

Really wanted to like it….but:Markers are made of foam with really weak magnets;The description says 4 colors… it’s actually 2;awkward handle that really is about to break.Someone may like it - definitely not for me.
