I use them on almost every job. Great for twisted wire, and to have the ability to cut and strip wire. All in one is even better.

I like Ideal Tools and electrical supplies. As my electrical kit gets heavier over the years, the concept of consolidating as I get older becomes more appealing. Therefore, a wire stripper that incorporates Lineman's pliers is a great idea. Right from the start, the pliers didn't feel quite right in my hand and I couldn't figure out why. When I used the pliers I noticed that I didn't seem to have as much power available as I'd like. My opinion is that the distance between the handles are too far apart in the closed position, which diminishes gripping force for those with medium to small sized hands. If you have big paws, this issue may not bother you. I've read other reviews that commented about the reduction in cutting strength with these, and the distance between the handles being excessive probably is the reason. I think a second release of these cutters/strippers/pliers with the closed position handles being 1-inch closer, would make this tool a 5-star winner. It's a shame because I want to like them, but doubt I'll used them.
