Exactly what I was looking for

I feel I must add my voice to the others! I love this book.The projects are occasionally fiddly but it's a great way to learn techniques (especially fairisle or intarsia). Also there are many very simple projects, as well as a handful of crocheted teacosies.NOTE there are ONLY a few crochet patterns. - if you're ONLY looking for crochet projects, I wouldn't buy this book.A lot of different brands and makes of yarns are included, some expensive, others cheaper, as well as some patterns which are much more difficult than others.Instructions are clear and streight-forward and the projects are possible to complete in a day - 8(ish) hours for me and I'm a slow knitter.Personally, my teapot is always out and I look forward to making more teacosies in future.Finally, don't be put off by American terminology; to me, the word cozies refers to swimsuits! However, this book has directions in metric and imperial as well as international needle/hook sizes.There is a useful UK/US Conversion section, including yarn weights etc.

It was a lovely book, but unfortunately not what I was looking for.

Lots of beautiful designs on quality paper great value for money

I haven't made anything from this book yet but there are some really lovely patterns which I'm eager to try. The instructions look nice and clear and there are large pictures accompanying each pattern. At the back of the book there are instructions and diagrams for different techniques which is really useful for me coming back to knitting after a very long break.

Fantastic book, great patterns that are easy to follow, from beginners to more proficient knitters. Only problem was choosing which one! It is possible to complete most in a short time. Wonderful for gift making/raising funds.

This is really the only book you need for tea cozies. I will warn you that it does contain repeated patterns from the other guild book. I recommend just getting this one as the patterns are nicer.

This is a very nice book for KNITTERS. I made a mistake and purchased this book because I thought it was crochet patterns. I do not know how to knit. There are 75 patterns!!!! It truly is the BIG book of tea cozies. There are so many beautiful cozies. Animals, fruit, roses, contemporary, sunflower, stripes, Kitty cat, sheep, house, mermaid, pineapple, etc. if you know how to knit and you love tea cozies this book is for you. I will keep this book because maybe someday I will learn how to knit.

Great designs with clear instructions. Not all based on the same formulaic pattern, but actual individual patternwork. I made the pineapple cozy and had no trouble adapting it to fit a challenging silhouette teapot. Unfortunately, not all teapots are the same size or shape, but this book is a great starting point.

Great photos; Great , clear instructions. One star less; due to lack of yarn conversion to American yarn weights, and substitutions. Most of the british yarns are discontinued, NO conversion.

Lovely book, with a great selection of cozies to choose to make your own. I bought this as a gift for a friend who knits. Sure she will like it. We were talking about making some cozies, this should do the trick.
