SpeedClean CoilJet Portable HVAC Coil Cleaner, 20-Foot Coiled Hose, CJ-125-LH

These are great. It doesn’t really beat a hose in my opinion but we service some “luxery” apartment complex's where they have mini split outdoors in the parking garages and with no hose bibs nearby these are a life saver to clean those coils every season. It has it’s limitations but invaluable when you need it. Great tool to keep on the truck. Just make sure you keep it charged. 11 years in HVAC. Definitely approve!

An incredibly weak spray. This sprayer has the power similar to a Windex bottle - it can only be used on extremely thin coils. It basically wets and coats the coils with soap as it isn't nearly powerful enough to force its way through the coil. Very expensive for such a weak performance. NOTE 02/22/19 It has been a couple of weeks since I wrote the first part of this review. I decided to come back and lower from two stars to one star. I just couldn't believe that a manufacturer of a product would be so stupid as to put such a product out there that has to have a certain amount of pressure and just make it at so low pressure. I decided to open it. Yes, lose the money but discover de truth. The reason that the PSI is so low is that they use a small $35 motor used in under the sink reverse osmosis water purification system. Those motor have to be very low in PSI otherwise it will damage the reverse osmosis membrane. Their little 12v motor will pump only 1.4 gallons of water per minute. For a machine like this to work, they need a motor that will pump at least 4 gallons of water per minute. I have another little 12v motor that I bought via Amazon that I paid $17 and it pumps 5.3 gallons per minute. Just imagine the lack of respect this company SPEED CLEAN has for its clients, to launch a product like this and pocket the hard earned money from their clients, and supply them with a product that they must know that won't work as advertised.

We own and manage multiple 10+ unit apartment properties which have ductless mini-split systems installed. Some mini splits had been installed since 2015 and we have been paying around $300/inside head unit to have our HVAC installer do deep cleanings ($900/apartment for 3 heads in a 2 bdrm) when needed. (We first did a local survey and found this pricing to be about right for any reputable contractor.) In an effort to bring more maintenance inhouse we decided to develop mini split deep cleaning protocols and abilities. We spoke to our HVAC contractor (they have the CJ-125) and ended up purchasing the SpeedClean CJ-200E because we have organic properties and wanted to use only distilled water to deep clean. The 200E promised to have slightly higher pressures which we wanted to help the water be more effective, even though it requires to be plugged in for power. We have no previous HVAC experience and found the learning curve to be quick. After practicing in a couple vacant units I can now deep clean an inside head without spilling water in 30 - 45 minutes (in an occupied unit!). The tenants are shown the head dirtiness before and after if they are home and they are blown away at how well the 200E cleans with only water and how it improves performance and air freshness. Some of our apartments have 15' ceilings with mini splits mounted near the ceilings and this machine is heavy with a full load of water, but really really effective and productive. We have experienced no issues with this product while and after deep cleaning over 60 inside head units (x$300/unit = $18,000 maintenance savings). This product is also really good at cleaning the outside heat pumps to make the entire system operate like it is new. Using this product has been cost effective, time saving, productive and has created goodwill with our tenants. It looks like the other written reviews are for the 125 model, which we can't comment about. We have no batteries and 60 cleaned units sounds like a pretty good usage pool. This product is highly recommended.

Use it to clean your kitchen coils, evaps. Condensers. I use spray 9 as the detergent. Works well. Just heavy when.liaded woth liquid. Charge does last when you dont get carried away. FUN!

We were not happy with the sprayer. It’s heavy and the battery doesn’t last long. If I could I would return it.
