You can drill a hole faster with a basketball.
These are the ABSOLUTE WORST DRILL BITS EVER CREATED. These bits are worthless. They dull almost immediately and the point of Titanium and Cobalt bits is to be able to drill holes into metal. I would have an easier time putting holes in steel with Harbor Freight garbage than these. Stay very far away from this awful, waste of metal, time and money. I crapped something last night that would work better than these bits. I want my money back!

Dull, not sharp at all. Won't even drill through Unistrut using Tap Magic.
Dull, dull, dull. This is the worst set of drill bits I've ever bought. Don't waste your time and money on this crap. Not for professionals. I work at Ford, and am a licensed Master Electrician. I recently purchased this set because we are going through a big retooling project, and I needed a good variety of sizes. The first hole I tried to drill using cutting oil, the drill just made a dimple and got hot, no chips at all. Grabbed a drill out of my Dewalt kit and it cut like a charm. Some of the drills work, but not reliably It's hit and miss..

Great Set of Drills for a DIY'er
I'm a semi-retired DIY'er that's always doing projects around the house. My old set of drills are just high speed steel and they dull quickly. They are also just thrown together in a box. They are really a pain to sort through when looking for the drill I need. I love the way these are perfectly organized into a case that even shows you the drill size held in each compartment (see photo). The case is heavy duty and made of metal (see photo). It should hold up well and last a long time. I am also looking forward to using the titanium coated bits over and over again. I've only used them for about a week now, but so far they have held up very well. I would highly recommend.

Quality drill bits, well-organized at a great price
I just purchased these drill bits last week to replace my old set. I'm extremely happy with them. I needed new bits for some home improvement projects I'm working on. I was very glad to have several bits in each size because I'm prone to losing them, and if one broke, I had another readily available. They come in a metal case and the sizes are pictured on the underside of the cover, so that you can see exactly what size is where, eliminating time wasted in confusion. They're strong bits and they go right through wood and drywall. I'm surprised they're so inexpensive, honestly. I'm glad to have this quality set of drill bits.

Utterly Worthless for metal
I tried this kit this afternoon and destroyed five bits making three holes. On bit was crooked and of course it rotated so much at the tip that it could not "find" the center punched dimple.I tried to drill two 3mm holes in 16 ga steel. It took three bits. All burned up, getting red hot before completing the hole.I then needed to drill three 5mm holes in the steel. I got through one hole and the second one welded itself to the steel I was trying to drill. I couldn't finish the second hole as the welded bit part could not be punched out. I then tried the third hole and it went almost the way through then the bit melted again. This is a case where the packaging looks good, but the product is junk. It might work on wood or plastic, but it will not work on metal.

great deal for the money
Purchased the set for my husband. Over time, we have lost and broken bits and, with several moves, our tools are not as organized as they once were. This metal case organizes a large number of bits that come in a wide range of sizes. Cannot imagine not having what we need with this selection. My husband was pleased with this gift and says that they work well with metal. Have not yet had the need to try on plastic. They did better with harder wood than soft but he says that the bits are intended to be used on metal anyway. Realistically, the smaller bits will break easier than the larger ones so it is good that there are so many of them in the case. If you are not familiar with the metric system, you may need to look it up. This is a very good product and I recommend it for all but those needing a heavy duty commercial set for daily use or someone working exclusively in wood. For home use or or basic contract use, this should be a very good choice.

Poor quality these SUCK!
Tried drilling a small hole through 22 gauge stainless steel as a pilot hole for self tapping screws. Used the 3mm bit, which literally bent in 2 places a few seconds into drilling. Swapped to a cheap Black and Decker bit that came in a $5 set from Wal Mart that was 5 years old, which immediately went right through it. I'd NEVER had a bit bend, only break. These are so soft, they bend. I won't even mention their dullness. Stay away. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Unbelievably brittle bits break easily
These bits are absolute garbage. I was drilling an M2 hole through an existing 1.6mm hole in 2mm thick aluminum, and snapped 4 bits. This was on a drill press to ensure no procession of the drill bit, as to prevent breaking. The aluminum plate was chocked up on an XY table. This should be a non-issue; however the bits snapped upon initial contact with the plate. I could only imagine the performance when using with a harder/denser metal like steel or brass.Although this drill bit set contains 99 pcs, you had better believe you will be going through these fast. Better off getting a mix of bits from McMaster Carr or similar. A comparable set with a mix of 1 or 2 of each bit has a comparable cost to this particular set. I have added one star to my single star review only due to the sheer number of bits included.
