Kickers Unisex Kid's Kick Hi Core Ankle Boots

These shoes are adorable. We were recommended the Kickers brand by a physiotherapist who diagnosed my at the time 18month with hypermobility. He basically has very lax joints and as such is flat footed causing his ankles to fall inward when he walks. Now at 2 years old and having been given as much bare foot time as possible over the summer while at home and in the garden, he has worn these boots whenever we go out to give his ankles the support they need.They are a firm but not too rigid leather with classic white stitching detailing, the sole is nice and firm maintaining the support across the bed of the foot. The lacing rather than velcro offers controlled support too. My 2 year old is currently in a size 5, we had his feet measured at a high street store and also went onto the Kickers website to look at their recommended sizing, which is achieved by drawing around the bare foot of your child and then measuring from heel to the tip of the big toe. The size in cm is put against a shoe size so that you can choose the correct size for your child. I advise drawing around both of your childs feet so that you can buy the correct size based on the largest measurement if one differs from the other.After a couple of play dates in a kids park I found that Clarks own navy shoe polish cream (it comes in a small white tube) is a fab colour match for these boots and only needed one application and buffing to bring them back up to a shine.These boots are just so smart and uber cute when paired with smart trousers for meals out etc. Such a classic design offering your kids feet the best support.

Love kickers, you can't go wrong with kickers! EVER!!!!yes do order a size up from what your kids in atm. as they can come up snug, if they'r a little big at first, put an insole in them.My boy has a pigeon toe, he constantly falls over, constantly scuffs his feet and doesn't pick his feet up properly because of bow legs.I think i have tried every so called "tough, hard wearing" shoe on him and kickers are the only ones that stand the test of time with him and actually last over the 3/4 month mark on a daily usage at pre-school.You can buy all the different coloured polishes now from kiwi and cherry blossom to keep these brightly coloured kickers in good nick.I love them, he's been in kickers for the past 2 years, they support the foot well, they're constructed well and they last, when you work it out they're worth the money and initial outlay.To name a few my boy has demolished these following brands in under a month, timberland! don't go near if you have a boisterous little boy! they just started falling apart very quickly, he's currently wearing firetrap desert boots at school and after a months use are still in tact, terribly scuffed, nubuck is not the best material but they were in the sale! but the construction is still good.All trainers including nike, addidas and clarks shoes all fall apart on my son in under a month!They only trainer that lasts a while on him is converse because of the big rubber toe cap.Hope all this helps! defo go with the kickers. My daughter requires insoles to correct a turned in foot. Her doctor only recommends Kickers Hi Top laces boots as the best school shoes for children.Clarks are no longer what they once were.Last year I succumbed to my daughter's pleas to buy the velcro version which her doctor frowned at and proved to be correct. They simply didn't fasten tight enough and thus provided inadequate support.This year I have returned to the laces and am pleased. I wouldnt buy the patented shiny Kickers as they scuff too quickly. The black leather is the best.Very pleased as always with these school essentials.

When received these shoes, was really happy with a quality and looking. Perfect quality of leather and overall. But when my son (2.5 years) tried them on, he told me that they are not comfy. And I could actually see, how hard they are and how differently my son moving his feet. So had to return it as it didn't suit us.

I've always bought them for my kids and I like its looks however, the sole does not last long especially with the boys and its not just because boys being boys but the fact that the sole is not actually sowed on and with time the glue wears off, even the sole I've found over the years wears off. It needs to be more water resistant. It should be made better especially for the prize it sells for and the fact that it is quite popular.Well, again I can't complain cause I have always got it on affordable prize.

Daughter wanted a pair of these kickers but locally every shop had run out of this style, there's a vast range of sellers & prices on the net, but we found that these are probably the cheapest around & as your buying from amazon we felt we would be getting the real thing rather than a pair of cheap snide copies, that said they are still over priced but if you want a happy child it's a better alternative than the whinging & moaning that you can expect, oh & be careful as the sizes come up BIG, we tried a pair on in a shop to ensure we ordered the correct size.

Well happy with my purchase my daughter loves them only issue I had was I order them and they've sent me the shiny black kicker boots so received the wrong item but my daughter doesn't mind that so I haven't bothered with reporting the issue to the seller, apart from that I'm quite happy with my purchase. 👍
