Stripped a T40/45 torx on an A/c line. Then I stripped the housing too. I was not able to get the bolt on the line but I was able to get the plate off so I can still pull the motor which means this thing saved me this weekend( my welder is in storage) . I think they don’t work at an angle. Have to be square with the work piece. I wish there were more sizes but then again it wasn’t meant for torx bolts the description states Hex.

I was skeptical at first. I’ve been using them now for 2 years. If you have an Allen head that’s damaged, use these and you will have a fighting chance. Several members of my team have a set now too!

Bought these for work figuring they were worth a shot. They come in a nice case, it's solid and they don't move around much. They work perfect when the situation calls for them.

They worked very well. Bought this set to use at work (maintenance at a tire factory) and put them to use the first day I received them! They took a little minute to get the hang of, being used to using a different style of extraction, but once I got it down they saved my butt PLENTY OF TIMES!Always have enjoyed the tools I've gotten from Ares, and will continue to put my trust in them when I need something down the line. I need these more often than I wish I did.These perform well most of the time.Sometimes they grab, but the button head snap's anyhow, ugh.But these DO latch on and give you a fighting chance.

Ok so I've had these for a few months now to use in getting rounded hex head screws out on my rc cars. I have tried these things on approx 50 screws. Some I rounded intentionally just so I could use this kit. This kit did not I repeat did not get one single solitary screw out. Not a one. I tried using it on a screw was already broke loose and guess what? You guessed it. It would not remove the already broken loose screw. To the makers of this garbage of a set. You win, you got me. Nice April fool's day joke. You should quit your day job and find another one. This product is going to leave you broke and frustrated. As for me I'm just frustrated with this set. Never again to say the least. Save your money; look at the next screw extrator kit. Do not under any circumstances. (Unless somebody is paying you to use them). Do not buy this kit. You will be sorry. I guarantee it.

work great, save my life couple times

I had two M6 studs inside a counter-bore that I could not get out for the life of me. I ordered this set because it had sizes smaller than 1/4". I searched a long time on Amazon for a set like this and it's worth every penny. I used the bit labeled M6 and it fit on like a glove. Tapped it tight with a hammer and used a socket to turn it out like butter. I'm super happy. You may only need these every once in a while but when you need them there is often no other way. My only other option was to bust out the welder to try and try to spot weld another bolt to the end. I probably would have screwed that up and made the situation worse so I'm glad I didn't try it.
