Atelier InteractiveAcrylic Keep-Wet Palette, White, one size

My stay wet pallette arrived on time and in perfect condition, anybody that complains about problems in trying to open the pallette, all i say is open your eyes and try again, i only have the use my R/arm and i opened it in 2 or 3 seconds, i will say it's a bit flimsy plastic, but apart from that I'm very happy with my purchase, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, THANKYOU A++++

I wasn't expecting it to be this good, but 4 weeks later, my acrylics are still workable.Compared to some of the others staywet pallets I have used, this one is the best.The supplied paper and sponge (which I think might be something similar to a really thick watercolour cotton paper), doesn't let too much water soak into my heavy body acrylics.My only regret is that they don't sell a bigger one :-)

I have just received this item and I kind of took a punt on it.. I’d wanted a wet palette for a while but unsure which to go for (I paint miniatures).This was cheap and fitted the bill so I went for it...My first thoughtsIt is HUGE at around A4 sized, I will easily be able to fit the range of colours for painting up a unit with room to spare!It is made of reasonable strength plastic. I would prefer stronger but this is good enough for the job!All in all I’m pleased and ready to get painting later today!

Ideal for painting Citadel miniatures, much more effective than sponge and baking paper in a takeaway tub. Paper lasts longer and stays moist easier, keeps paint consistency much better.

This solves the problem of acrylics drying out in minutes especially in this warm weather. Acrylics dry out so fast I get so frustrated having to clean up and then start again, now I can just pop the lid on and go back to painting time and time again. This saves me time, mess and also money. Mixing colours is now a pleasure with this.

Having not painted in a few years, and acrylics being my chosen medium,I was insearch for a new stay wet pallet after I seemed to have misplaced my Daler-Rowney stay wet pallet, so as usual Amazon was my first place to look, as I value the customer reviews.I picked this pallet because it was recommended by Amazon, and the price seemed way lower than buying a new Daler-Rowney making it appear value for money,Now, I've got experience with using stay wet pallets, I know how to use them, but I found this particular brand very disappointing, for three reasons.First the size is considerably smaller than my previous pallet, this is around A4 size, although that does make it easy to hold, and easy to clean as less area.Second the moment you put the membrane paper on to the reservoir paper the membrane paper corners curl up at the edges and becomes a tube, when forced down to meet the reservoir paper it gets wrinkles making it completely not fit for purpose as it's not touching the reservoir paper, now I have noticed that the reservoir paper on this brand resembles watercolour paper and the membrane paper is very similar to grease proof paper, something that never was obvious with the Daler-Rowney stay wet pallet.And finally third, the pallets lid is not transparent like the Daler-Rowney pallet so you can't see any status of your mixed paints.To summarize I'm very disappointed, I will try to purchase Daler-Rowney stay wet pallet refills to use with this very small pallet, as size issues aside it's mainly the quality of the papers that stop this pallet working.And as usual fast and efficient dispatch and delivery by Amazon.
