Where do I start.I needed a radio which was DAB +. A radio with a easy to read LCD screen, and largish.I read a lot of positive reviews about this and thought I would try it out.When I unpacked it, ( very well packed) my first reaction was Wow.I choose cream leather-looks very nice. .So the radio stands 22cm l 4.5 cm h 3.2 cm wide.Perfect size for me. The LCD screen is situated on the front and is very easy to read. I don't have to struggle to read. The LCD screen shows WIFI signal, the time, DAB or FM. The charge either from a Electrical socket connection or how much charge is left. Also states which pre-set station you are listening to .In capital letters at the bottom of the screen it states which station you are listening to ie BBC Radio 4 then underneath will say what you are listening to -magic.Below the LCD are 6 pre-set buttons.There are buttons for scanning manual tuning sleep, menu, mode and equaliser plus the on /off button..The radio is Bluetooth. There is also a large speaker.At the back of the radio, is the extendable ariel. Socket for headphones, socket for charging cable and aux socketThere is also a cute credit card size remote control. I only tested that last night. Brilliant. You have to have the radio on standby and wow you can do everything scan, pre-set, volume etc.The volume on the radio I call spectacular. I only use it on volume 2-3 but it can go very high which I have not tried. I don't need to. Quite happy with it on 2-3.Its a very nice radio, stable and I can just look at it and see what the information on LCD screen is.I am very impressed with this radio. It is good quality and as a three year warranty. Plus there is lifetime support.This is my best buy.Almost forgot it has a leather handle attached, making it perfect to carry.

Got this radio for my frequent fishing trips great sound and good functions easy to use. Looks very classy and is well made

A decent little radio, dab+,FM,Bluetooth receiver seems very sensitive with a clear balanced sound. However it is not British made, (made in China) and does not have a bass reflex speaker so don't expect a great bass response. I think for the best overall sound set the equaliser to the Rock setting the volume control has very small steps, from very low to surprisingly loud. Overall it seems to work well and is easy to use and setup. For the price it's a very good value for money...

I like this radio a lot. I chose the grey option and it looks very smart. It has a textured finish that keeps fingerprints at bay. It is surprisingly light but feels sturdy enough to last. Perhaps the buttons and volume/tuning knob feel a bit plasticky.As for the functions everything works perfectly. The display is nice and bright [and adjustable] and gives all the information you need. There are more than enough presets and the radio tunes itself without problems. My phone paired via bluetooth seamlessly and the connection was strong. The sound quality is good and not too bass heavy. I have a Pure radio which is far too bass biased and can't be fixed by the equalizer. Altogether I'm delighted and can recommend.

I bought this as a Bedside radio and alarm clock plus Bluetooth speaker. I have 3 other Azatom products and tried other radios at a similar price range only to be disappointed by them. THIS however, even though its not the price of a Roberts, is great value for money! It is really easy to use and intuitive. I love the preset buttons, dual alarm and the leather effect finish, very Classy indeed and it exudes Quality!!! It has a good sized clear display that is great for seeing the time next to the bed.I like the fact that when the alarm goes off it gradually gets louder so that you are not given a shock.Sound quality is far better than the other units in a similar price range soundwise, it is a very open and airy and just the right amount of Bass considering the size of the unit. It has a built-in equaliser where you can adjust the sound to your taste anyway my favourite is the movie mode which has the right balance of treble and bass frequenciesI like it so much I have bought a second radio from the same company it is smaller for travelling and I will also be reviewing this.I also love the fact that this company gives a 3 year warranty and is english based ( Though of course it's built-in China).I recommend this company if you wish to have well built well thought out good sounding audio units for an unbelievably good value price!

Short term review - will update when I've had it a while. Bought this to replace the DAB-only radio I have in my garage/workshop. My priority was to have DAB, DAB+ and Bluetooth, so FM's a bonus given that there are still plenty of stations still not on DAB. I use the radio's Aux out to play into a powered subwoofer and a power amp feeding two speakers. The one thing that stands out instantly is how much 'punchier' the sound is from this wee machine. The EQ settings are useful and through the unit's own speaker it's surprisingly good (what do you expect at this price and speaker size?). The remote control although fairly flimsy does everything you could want and more. I drilled a hole in the corner of mine so I could hang it up out of the way for easy finding (my workshop is not as orderly as I would like). If you hold the remote up to a strong light you can easily see where it's safe to drill a hole (you obviously do this at your risk!). The soft handle is secured using two T15 Torx fasteners. I was able to remove these and the handle and now have it secured using two bent strips of steel underslung to a shelf and at eye-level - perfect! This way of mounting would work well in a kitchen under cupboards and off the work surface. Means I can press buttons and the radio stays put and it's out of harm's way. Bluetooth is a doddle to hook up to your smartphone and, again, the sound is great. All-in-all a superb, good-looking wee radio that only the pickiest people could find fault with at this price-point.
