Q: Is the handle rubberized for a good grip when wet?

Most definitely. Superior product-superbly well made. I love to cook; I have purchased numerous upper level utensils. I’d compare this scraper to a Williams & Sonoma product.

Q: Are the numbers painted or etched on?

The numbers are printed but after running through the dishwasher several times the numbers remain very easy to read.

Q: Can this scraper be used on a griddle? Thanks in advance.

I don’t see why not. It’s noy as thick as a griddle scraper but should work nicely. Don’t press too hard at first to make sure the handle stays on. I’ve scraped many knuckles that way.

Q: Can i use this to cut butter?

Yes. It’s not ‘sharp’ by any means but it will cut through butter even if it’s cased in paper/foil
