Well made
I bought this DSMB and the 6ft one at the same time. These things are tough. I'm a divemaster at a shop in honduras and I have launched this thing every dive for the past 6 weeks. 70 dives and counting. I prefer the 6ft because of the added height for choppy days but the 4ft is more compact. It definitely takes practice to launch it from depth. You can be seriously injured if you aren't trained or atleast watch a few videos... The line in the real seems a little cheap, however it's still pretty tough and hasn't failed me. I love this Marker Bouy

Solid SMB
This is a solid SMB. I tried others and this checks all the boxes. Swivel end line, size, color, compact, long string, release valve. The end does NOT open up for use with a regulator, so inflation can only be done via blowing. Other than that is a excellent.

Doesn't inflate from bottom
Complete garbage. Took it to my certification course. Couldn't inflate with the regulator from the open bottom. Messed with it for 3 minutes before my instructor went to surface, reeled his in, came back down and let me use his for the skills test. Examined it once I got to the hotel room that night. There is a molded piece of clear plastic in a cone shape underneath the oral Inflation valve...not sure why its there...but it was closed all the way down to about the diameter of a pencil...absolutely no way you're going to inflate this thing from the bottom using your exhaled bubbles from from the reg.I turned it inside out and cut all that crap out with my knife. It works now...but there's no need for that. Buy something that actually works as designed and not risk cutting the nylon bag. Oh and that dumb large oral inflation valve is a joke, plus it prevents the bag from being rolled up very tight. Therefore it's bulky and cumbersome.
