Sturdy little case and good fit for the Akai professional mpk mini mk3
Akai professional mpk mini mk3 fits well with space for the USB cable. It feels sturdy enough from then outside and cushion on the inside to protect the top of the MIDI keyboard. Top marks and decent value for money.

Nice case for the Akai MPK Mini Play, or MPK Mini
I got an Akai MPK Mini Play keyboard for Christmas and my plan is to take it with me when I work away from home, to keep me occupied during boring evenings in hotels. Of course, I didn't want to take the keyboard in its cardboard box, so I wanted a case to protect it. This one is marketed for the MPK Mini MkII, but as the MPK Mini Play is the same size it is also suitable for my keyboard.Packaging is simplistic, as you'd expect. It arrives in an Amazon box, and inside this there's a plastic bag which contains the case. It's made of a semi-rigid ABS style material, a bit like some briefcases or suitcases, and is very light. There's a handle on one side, and two zips which run from the handle side right around, so when you unzip the case fully the handle is on the back of the hinge, which is why you can't see it in the main product image. Colour-wise, the case appears to be almost black, or a very dark grey. Inside, the case is lined with a grey velvety material, and there is a sponge pad with bumps on it, a bit like an egg box in a way (you can see it on the picture), and there are two velcro strips loose inside which you can use to wrap cables up. One side of the case is deeper than the other. I put the keyboard into the deep side, and the sponge pad in the shallow side, so that the "bumps" go against the keys and knobs. It's a snug fit, but at least the keyboard doesn't slide or rattle around inside, and it feels quite well protected. All in all, this case does exactly what I want it to do. I'll feel comfortable putting my keyboard inside this and then sticking this in my suitcase when I travel around.

Great sturdy case
Great little case 👍 hard. strong. Open up and you have a foam filling inside for more protection of the keyboard as well as a soft lining inside. Plenty of room to put your cable and paperwork in. Great little case.
