Q: Are the pics large enough to place in a hall going down a set of stairs?

this set pictures have 4 pcs, each one are stretched and framed, and each piece size is: 16inch high x 12 inch width, so totally these 4 pcs arts can be displayed together at a size minimum: 16 inch tall and 48 inch wide, if you leave space on each other, the displaying size will be bigger.

Q: Can you use command strips to hang these?

I don't see why not. You just need a little hook or something to hang them on, I used push pins and haven't had any issues. If it's just the sticky strips, you could probably just put them on the back corners. The pictures aren't that heavy.

Q: Can someone tell me what are the little white things used for?

Sticky tabs to adhere to wall. I had freshly painted walls so these didn't work for me. They would probably stick to other surfaces but for bathroom walls where there is a steam shower, those didn't hold
