So comfortable!
When Justin bought Chippewa Boots they dropped this style of boot from the line. Bad idea. But it looks like someone at Justin took their head out of their butt and put this boot into production. I'd give the person a raise. It's hard to find a good 6" boot without those lugs on the sole that are only good for tracking mud into the house. This new Chippewa boot isn't exactly the same as the original style that I've been wearing for years and years, but it's darn close. They were smart enough to keep the quick lace hooks on the top because trying to lace these things up without them would be a real pain. The best thing about these boots is that they are comfortable straight out of the box. No "breaking them in" period that you get with so many other boots. Thank you Justin for bringing this style of boot back with the typical Chippewa high quality standard. I appreciate it.

Good boot
These are a quality pair of boots that I think are comfortable. They take some time to break in but I’ve put my Red Wing boot treatment on them to help soften them some. The price is worth it in my opinion for what you get. They can be work boots or a nice pair to wear out but I’m not a fancy person, they might not be fancy enough for some. My only complaint is I was shipped two different size boots, a 9 1/2 and a 10. I ordered a 9 1/2 so the difference isn’t enough to be noticeable looking at them so I just rolled with it but was a little annoyed with it.

Comfortable right out of the box.
Used the boots for yard work before heading to work on my volunteer electrical construction projects. Pleasantly surprised they were comfortable right out of the box. Disappointed that they are now made in China 🇨🇳. Don’t we have leather in the USA ?

The Tennis Shoes Of Leather Boots
They're really pretty comfy. Yeah, there's still some break in because the uppers are leather, and depending on the shape of your feet, they may or may not work for you. But as far as leather boots go, they're easy. Real squishy soles. Fairly soft leather. The first time I wore them, I just put them on and drove 2.5 hours with them. No pain. If you've ever broken in a real pair of leather boots, you know that sitting for even 30 minutes in them before they've walked a lot of miles is pretty much torture. Not with these. After that drive, I walked about 4 miles on flat ground. Very mild hot spots in a couple places, but nothing bad, and I put them right back on the next morning and wore them all that day, too. I did buy a wider size than I really needed and that helped with the pain-free break-in, but still. The only question, really, is whether they'll hold up longer than tennis shoes. Chippewa Boots aren't what they used to be. But most things aren't these days. If you want real quality, get White's or Nick's or some other true craft boot. These are the mass-produced variety of boot. For the price, if they hold up to a few years of real use, they're a good value. My only initial complaint is that the glue job on the sole was pretty sloppy. I bought these as work boots - something that I could wear in a field on a ranch and not get made fun of for wearing fancy dress boots. But that I could also wear around town and not feel like I'm wearing clunky fire boots or something. These walk that line pretty well. But if you're buying these to go with your dark indigo raw denim jean with the bottom rolled up fashionably, strictly for style, something like what's in my photos could be a problem.A little hard to see in the photo, but that darker, wet-looking spot on the leather just above the sole is glue. A smear or a run or something. It's more obvious in-person.

Great Boots
Great boot right out of the box. I have another pair from Chippewa , a boot like this but cap toe.and kind of teracota colored for a little dressier look. I just knew that I was gonna get a high quality boot when I ordered these. when I opened the box this pair looked like very high quality but I thought that they woul be hard to brerak in. I usually walk around the house with them and break them in. Against my own belief I decided to wear them to the DMV office to get my REAL ID. I walked all around at the center and wore them for about 5 hours with not a bit of worries or problems. I highly recomend this boot. RPM

Received a used item
Item received was clearly used, not properly packaged, has scratches all over the boots, dirt or who knows what stuck to the soles. Not impressed considering the price. The fit was also not great, I ordered 9.5 ee wide and it was barely big enough for my foot, very tight on the top side.

I Loves These Boots, my 5th pair
These boots are pricey for what they are..I have had 5 pair..I wear everyday I hated to SEE CHIPPEWA phase them out, big mistake their newer boot, are not the boots they where and DO NOT have the character these boots have after broken in and weathered..tough boots. Heal material little soft wears a little fast, tread grips well, leather tough, have cut though a boot oi8nce, leather used to be better quality in the past. It took a long time to get, but the seller did give long lead time.
