Q: Probably a dumb question, but desperate. Can this be used over finished interior garage wall to help keep radiant heat from transferring into home?

The two things to ask yourself are: 1) Where is the heat coming from and 2) Is there an air gap between that heat source and the Radiant Barrier? If you know question 1 and the answer to question 2 is YES, then Radiant Barrier will properly function in minimizing radiant heat transfer. By applying the radiant barrier directly to your garage wall that is between your garage and the house, this will minimize heat transfer from the garage to the home, but NOT the other way around.

Q: Is this suitable for emp protection?

Based on all my research, I think it is. That is what I have used it for. But there is no way to be sure until an actual EMP attack and see if it worked for Faraday cage.

Q: How UV-resistant is the polyethylene scrim--will it withstand long-term direct sunlight in southern US?

I would contact the manufacturer / vendor. I used this product as a heat barrier on the inside of an RV.

Q: Can this be used for sauna insulation?

Insulate with fiberglass and put this over the fiberglass as radiant barrier for the sauna. Foil on the sauna side.
