This is a very high quality bag for a great price. It looks great, ideal for taking to the office or for taking to school with you if you are a teacher as it fits most laptops and A-4 format paper. The leather is high quality and the stitching is finished to precision. The leather is stiff at first but becomes very supple while using it. The colour was beautiful as well, exactly as it showed in the picture. The bag itself is not very heavy, which is good. You also get a leather shoulder strap with it which is very flexible, as the hooks you connect to your bag can turn. The bag is big enough for everyday use although the two main compartments are not that wide (but you know that before buying as the size is on the website). In short, I am extremely happy with the quality of this bag. It came well packaged, filled with Italian newspapers which makes you believe it is actually produced in Italy. I definitely recommend this item!

Lovely colour. The leather is a bit stiff. Thought it might soften down with use but it hasn't. Not lined. Delivery prompt. No real complaints for the price.

I have only had this a couple of weeks but it is just as described, seems well made fits my laptop a Vostro 3460 well but any larger and it might struggle. The leather seems good, smells like leather but is not at all strong. The two disappointments which I should have been aware of is no lining (which might be good as it can't wear out and no interior pockets.The leather is very stiff and edges quite hard but it will age hopefully gracefully.Very good value but if you have the money maybe a Visconti is a better buy, but I couldn't justify the doubling of the price so I'm very happy.Mike

I love this briefcase I bought it for my husband for our 3rd wedding anniversary. The quality is superb I couldn't of chosen a better product. It arrived on time.My husband loves it and I'd recommend for anyone who uses smart briefcases for whatever purpose. Its big enough to slip your laptop into and still enough room for documents, slim files, books etc. Its very smart, looks expensive and high quality!! with the wide range of colors I'm considering one for myself!!

Looks great, always admired

I bought this for work to replace my previous briefcase. I use it daily & it is coping well with such regular use. The leather is excellent quality, as are the zips/magnetic poppers. The leather takes a while to soften, but in a good way. If it had softened in a week or so I suspect it wouldn't be in such good condition now, after 6 months of daily use.It's a pity they don't do this in black, which is the colour I would have preferred, but now I have got my head around the fact my shoes & bag don't match, it's not an issue!! I would definitely buy another if and when this one needs replacing. At the rate it's going however, this might be quite a number of years away.

The bag looks good but not as fabulous as expected. The inside of the bag looks very cheap. A little disappointed as it wasn't what I would consider good value for money.

(Review updated after 2 months and updated again after 3yrs and 9 months below...)Just received this bag and am very pleased so far. Looks and feels and smells like great quality. It's a replacement for a previous bag purchased in Italy on which the clasps broke. This bag is the perfect size for a laptop and peripherals, plenty of space - it even came stuffed with Italian newspaper!The only things it is missing for me are storage slots for pens and business cards, perhaps an internal zip pocket (but that would require a lining) and some feet (standing it on wet ground on the leather is probably going to be best avoided). Also initially it feels like closing the zips is going to be a bit fiddly because the zip turns a sharp corner downwards at the ends, hopefully as the leather gets more supple that will improve - at least that makes them difficult to pick-pocket!Last point, I have an umbrella which is short but opens up quite large so it's quite fat when folded, the leather buckle straps on this bag will fit around the handle of my umbrella but not the folded part without excessive forcing. I've therefore substituted one of the buckle straps for a black velcro strap I had lying around. The bag still stands up though, even when fairly empty with a heavy umbrella attached to it. Longer buckle straps for thicker umbrellas would be nice.Will post another review once I've given the bag some use if there is anything else to report.Update:After 2 months of use still loving this bag and it has been much admired by friends and colleagues, my concerns about the zips were unfounded - they work easily and nicely.Update after almost 4 years: I'm buying this bag again, my old one could be re-sown where it's started coming unstitched at the seams, but it's looking tired and has sagged so my laptop bumps on the ground when the bag is put down and the bag has developed a lean when standing. But it's been used for work daily in all that time and still gets many many compliments! I've never used the shoulder strap, only the handle.
