I was a little apprehensive about this before it turned up, but it arrived quickly and I built it alone. The instructions were pretty straight forward. This was for my son however I play basketball myself and had to put it to the test... its brilliant! Height changeable from full height to juniors and everything in-between. I filled the base with sand which took about 50kg (kiln dried sand is the easiest as the hole is very very small so you could sit there a long time like I started off doing with building sand, poking every handfull in. I also accidentally overfilled the extra bag with sand, I'd say to about 60kg, so with the base and the bag filled the thing doesn't move when in use or in the wind. It is a very attractive hoop also! The neighbours have a £1500 spalding one which I think this one actually looks and performs better than the Spalding one. We live in a coastal area and the spalding one hasn't withstood the weather too good so I will take mine in and lay on the garage floor using the wheels which make it really portable, when the rain comes. I think keeping a thin coat of lube on the poles, nuts and bolts should keep this looking fresh though. Shame for the other reviewers who struggled with poor instructions or relied on water to fill the base as I actually can't fault this, maybe I got the latest upgraded version?! For 10% of what you'd be paying for a Spalding equivalent I can't be happier. Great product 5*****

Kids love the basketball hoop!! They love that they adjust the height for the younger ones to be able to play. Good quality and looks good. Only reason we want to give it 4 stars and not 5 is it was complex to put together. It took 2 of us 4 hours. May of been the 2 people that put it together snd not the instructions but never used so many 4 letter curse words in a 4 hour time frame 🤣

This hoop is very well built, and worth the money. The instructions aren’t easy to read as they are printed small, and it needs two people to construct. It’s a very heavy hoop and once it’s up it’s up. I will have to dismantle to put away for the winter and try and find somewhere to store it. Overall happy with the hoop.

Bought this is a birthday present for my son he’s 6ft3 item is study easy to put together good value for money would recommend and would buy again my son is very happy with his basketball hoop

Paint has started to peal off only put it up on Christmas day

Base leaks even tho it says can fill with water. Seller won’t replace base and said all of them leak and are faulty. Very disappointed son who got this for his 11th birthday and now it lays on the ground as it won’t stand when the water leaks out it topples over. Paid a handy man £60 to put this together so now I’m down £200, have a sad child and a basketball hoop laid on the ground that I will have to dispose of. Don’t waste your money.

Full size hoop with no rattles or issues went up easy enough and been dunking on it for months now

For the Price I was amazed what arrived solid sturdy, the instructions were easy and apart from connecting the top to the bottom pole I did it all my self. My daughter loves it! Just wish as with all bases they would put a bigger hole to get the sand in!! Recommended
