Tremendous performance, though it is a complex build
This is my first Tamiya RC build, and it is very complex, lots and lots of little screws. I had to back track a couple of times when I used the wrong screw or when I put the front driveshafts in the rear and the rears in the front. So, while the instructions are well done, it's easy to get things wrong if you don't read them closely. While the body comes painted, the driver does not and requires a bit of painting. If you have some experience building models, you should be fine. The good:*The looks of this RC are just stunning.*The quality is everything you've come to expect from Tamiya*Outstanding Performance, the RC has fantastic handling and the suspension really works over broken terrain. The bad:*It's very complex kit with lots of tiny screws and clips which can be easily lost. It took me about 20 hours to complete this.*The stickers are not die cut, so that means you have to cut them out with either a good pair of scissors or a hobby knife. What's more, applying them is quite the challenge as they are VERY sticky and if you don't get them placed correctly on the first try, repositioning them will be a problem.Build Tips:1 Read the instructions carefully2. Don't open anything until the instructions call for it3. Have some small cups or bowls to hold the tiny screws and other parts so they don't get lost4. The screws and other parts show to scale in the instructions, so you can use that to confirm you have the right size screw.5. Keep a terry towel on your work service, so small metal parts won't bounce into a parallel dimension.6. Spraying the sticky side of the stickers with window cleaner will allow you to reposition the sticker should you need to. Once in the correct position you can gently push out any air liquid or air bubbles

Pos
Beaks every time I take it out. Even after spending hundreds of dollars on aftermarket parts the design of it makes it grenade. Don't waste your money.
