It is an oval-shaped cable. Perfect for none demanding situations
I plan on installing this cable down to our shed when rain and storms permit. In the meantime, I cut off a sample to test. My initial observations were that the outer cable is paler blue than some other cables I have encountered. It is also not round, more oval-shaped. The shielding cable and ground wire both appear to be copper in colour, though closer inspection reveals they are copper coloured aluminium. The 4 pairs of wires are also copper coloured / clad aluminium. You need to consider that the conductivity of aluminium is only 61% of copper of the same dimensions; it is also lighter, so should be easier to work with, though I might advise caution if you are considering a long length connection using this cable. On the flip side, this cable is rated as CAT6A, so much better properties than straightforward CAT6, though a true CAT6 cable should be solid copper, not coated / coloured aluminium. They class this cable as one for direct burial. I'm going to put my cable into a plastic conduit, running from our house to the shed. Much easier to change if there is ever an issue with the cable.I cut a test length of cable, a couple of metres and attached RJ45 faceplates to either end, then inserted this cable between an existing length of ethernet cable. The couple of metres performed well, zero issues with it.If you decide you really want solid copper i.e. true CAT6 the prices are about 50% more for the same length. The longest runs of CCA CAT6 I've installed are around 30 to 40 metres, carrying POE to CCTV cameras, they have all been fine. I would use more of this cable for CCTV etc., though if it was a true high spec installation, my recommendation would be the fibre optic route.Bottom line, this cable is perfect for none demanding situations and yes, I would order more.

Good quality
I've used the cable to network some security cameras around my garage and so far it's worked a treat. The cable itself is very durable but pliable and the length was perfect for the project with a bit left over which I will probably use around the house. So far I haven't encountered any issues at all and I'm pleased with it's performance - as such, I would happily recommend.

Waste of time
Just installing it it got so many cuts, half of it unusable due to wafer thin sheath! Better deals out there
