100% Pure Free Range Australian Emu Oil (200ml)

This product actually works, and a little goes a very very long way. I use a little on my face, lips, hands, feet, neck and bust area and have also used it on an infection between my toes which I have had for 18 months that nothing would work on. The infection has been so bad that there were open bleeding sores that would not heal, I tried lavender, tea tree and neem oil on it, collodial silver, various foot creams and even weleda skin food but nothing would work,.after 2 days of using this all the sores are closed and it is healing extremely well, wash your feet before bed and apply this to infected areas on feet and let it do its job while you sleep, I could not believe it but it did work. The texture is lovely it is not a runny oil it is closer to an oil serum because it is thicker but not heavy, it is very soothing, and you will see a difference on your skin very quickly, I think it is by far the best neck, bust and handcream I have come across, and that is coming from someone who has used darphin, decleor, elemis, shishiedo, gatineau, clarins, and many more. This is 100% pure I feel it is the best buy full stop and the price is a bonus, do not waste money on expensive creams when you can use this especially with all its proven health benefits so glad I found this I am ordering again for sure and ordering and giving as presents,so pleased and few beauty products impress me but this one really has, worth every penny.

Nice as a facial moisturiser. However I've not noticed any anti-inflammatory/ pain relieving effects so far.

I love the emu oil, the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars from me is the bottle. The oil is quite thick so the pump is pretty much redundant. Unless I heat the bottle to make the oil thinner, nothing comes out of the pump. And because I can't be bothered to heat it up every time I use it, I tend to just unscrew the top and tap some out into my hand. But otherwise, the emu oil is great for my Afro-Caribbean hair, it smells a little but it makes my hair sooooooo soft :)

I tried Emu Oil in desperation for things to help with my daughter's severe eczema. I am not one to go to the holistic route, and tend to put my faith and trust in medicine and doctors - but at my wits end, having gone through almost every emollient and moisturizer available, and going onto stronger and stronger steroid creams - I was willing to try anything and read on a random forum that Emu Oil can help. So I ordered this off Amazon on a whim and could not believe my eyes when my daughter's red patches started to soothe, and fade away (with just a very light application 4 times a day along with her usual moisturizer). Realizing I would need a lot of Emu Oil, and thinking I could save costs on going elsewhere for the same - I ordered Emu Oil from other providers at a lower cost (all with certificates of authenticity and grades and all the technical rules they have to follow) - and they simply did not work. No change, no results from the other oils - smell and texture different and so now I know that this is the only Emu Oil that I trust.I have also communicated with the supplier directly and can honestly say I have never been treated so quickly, kindly and well - this is a lovely company, with an excellent product, who has bent over backwards to accomodate our needs. It may "feel" somewhat indulgent to pay the price when there are cheaper versions - but the results speak for themselves. Other Emu Oils just do not compare and I am now a loyal Algar Emu Oil user for life.My daughter still has eczema (there is no cure for that), she still flares and we still need to use the steroids here and there - but she is much more comfortable with the Emu Oil and to me that is just worth every penny.Also want to thank lowcostbeauty for changing the plunger on the bottle - as now you can control how much oil you use - wonderful improvement to a wonderful product.

I purchased this Emu Oil for my mother, who has suffered from eczema for many years. She has tried EVERY available cream and remedy; from Aveeno to cortisone, from sunbeds to wearing gloves at night, but nothing seems to work for a long period of time. I had heard of the natural healing powers of Emu Oil, so thought it would be worth trying. It’s not a miracle cure; unfortunately nothing is for eczema, but she has been using the Emu Oil in conjunction to her medicated cream and cortisone. There has been a definite improvement, and she has found she doesn’t need to resort to the steroids as often as she used to. She has found that the redness of her hands has improved, as well as the symptoms of itching and scaling. She loves the fact that the Algar Natural Emu Oil is pure – no other additives that could exacerbate her eczema, such as frangrances. I was apprehensive at first, in terms of how it would smell - afterall, it's derived from the fat of an Emu, but was pleasantly surprised that the smell was semi-neutral. Although there is a definite scent to the oil, once it has been rubbed into the skin the smell is hardly there and definitely not noticeable. Great product and I am so pleased that I have been able to help my Mom. I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest review. Great product - hardly a smell and what there is is not unpleasant; I had heard that some emu oils ponged rather. Great pump that lets you get the tiniest amount out at a time - you really do not need much, as a little goes such a long way. I am getting really good results from the oil and will definitely be buying again.Edit - Jan 2020 - I have bought this product many times and would like to report that it has done wonders for my lichen sclerosis. So much so that I have finally been able to leave off the steroid ointment after years of use. I apply about a scant half a teaspoon to the whole area after a shower (just plain water there) and again at night. It means I have to wear a panty liner as it is an oil and it would go over my clothes but I am so happy that it has helped so much.
