Giesser since 1776, Made in Germany, Black serrated kitchen knives round tip dishwasher safe 4.5 inch - Tomato knife, Steak knive set of 6

We received a Giesser knife several years ago from a relative that was visiting from Bohemian! We loved the knife quality and for years my husband and I have fought over who gets to use it, so I finally bought a set of six!!

These are exactly what I wanted - affordable serrated knives that I can put in the dishwasher. Plastic handles, nothing fancy but good quality and durable blades. I've been using & dishwashing them for some time and and no issues. They are very sharp and require caution use if you're not used to that but sharp and practical is what I was after.

I've been looking to replace my daily use serrated steak knifes for a while now and I finally found these. Far better than my older ones, and very sharp. They also don't need to be sharpened at all since they hold their edge pretty good. I was impressed with the first set I bought so I purchased a second set. Great bang for your buck.

Bought these knives as a gift for family so I do not have feedback yet but they look and I'm feel like good quality.

We use these knives every day for cutting bread and other foods. They are not elegant, but very utilitarian. The do sometimes get rust stains in the dishwasher; it may be better to wash them by hand. The purchase was good value for the money.

I've had these only 2 days and am ordering a second set. I had been looking for a rounded tip serrated knife to replace my "vintage" knives that I use multiple times a day in the kitchen. These are perfect and dishwasher safe. They are sharp, but I was able to cut a pear in such a way that the serrated edge would lightly bump against my thumb without getting cut. I will use them for everything and finally throw those old ones away! We eat a lot of fresh produce, and yes I have "good" paring knives, but I was tired of washing them multiple times a day. No, you are not going to set your china and crystal table with these knives as another reviewer said, but you can see that in the picture. They are lightweight, but they do not bend. I have cut carrots with them as well as avocados, strawberries, and red pepper. I haven't tried them on meat yet, but I'm sure they will be great based on how they cut the carrots.

They do cut things but feel cheap…which they are.

Knives are sharp but disappointed with the light handles.
