Viakix Acadia Hiking Sandal – Comfortable, Stylish Women's Sandals

I bought these because they look like they might work on my problem feet. Several years ago I broke every bone in my foot and an ankle and all the toes on the foot. I lose my balance easily and have fallen several times. My feet are wide to begin with but now my toes are all curling under my foot I and I have gout in the other foot. Seeing that these sandals were adjustable and had several places to adjust the fit and I bought them. I'm glad that it was recommended that you order a size down usually I wear a nine and a half. A lot of the time I'll order a 10 just to make sure the shoes are wide enough. They were right the size 9 fits me beautifully and I can adjust it through the best most comfortable sandals I've ever had and plan to be getting more in the future, and they are cute on.

For people whose feet supinate— these are PERFECT! All the current “arch support” shoes nowadays make my feet and ankles roll inward (pronate), and come nowhere near supporting my high arches. I walk more on the outer edges of my feet and finally found sandals that allow my ankles to remain vertical not angled inward. Wore them right out of the box for 21 days straight in Sri Lanka, comfortable and each strap is adjustable (after 10 hours on a plane, it was a relief to let out some of the straps and then snug them as the swelling decreased). If other shoes make your ankles collapse inward, try these! Also, they accommodate a wide ball of foot and narrow heel (I’m usually a size 8W snug in the toes or 8.5W heel is swimming around). Wish they were a little prettier and wish Viakix made closed shoes too, I’d live in them!

I purchased these for orthopedic rehab after total knee replacement surgery. They were a godsend. I needed a shoe with good support that would slip on and off easily. My foot swelled a great deal after surgery so these were ideal. Even the PT was impressed. I own two other pairs but some of the medical blogs say purchase new as the old shoes will show the pronation and other effects of needing knee replacement. The only issue was a small defect. Strap was not sewn down on end so it would catch as I put through the tightning.

Just received these yesterday, took a 4 mile hike in them to start breaking them in before I head on a trip to Peru. I have big wide feet. Ordered my usual size 11 and they are spot on. I have room to adjust of my feet swell, too. They are butter soft when you put them on. After sweaty 80° hike, whatever texture the insoles have helped my feet not slide around. I usually kick my shoes off for the drive home, but there were no hotspots to speak of, so they stayed on! Only deducted one star, because I have no idea on longevity & durability yet. I will make this a 5 star review after my trip if they perform as well in the Andes.

I love these sandals. I’ve purchased many brands and returned them all. These fit my narrow feet perfectly. I purchased the beige. I ended up ordering the navy for a second pair. Recommended an 8. But I ordered the 7. Im a 7 1/2. Perfect and comfy. My only complaint is the groove in the sole. My sensitive skin finds it annoying, but not too bad compared to others. Non slip bottom for sure. I’m 57 so this is important to me

Well built, nice looking. Adjustable straps to perfect fit. I have narrow feet so I have to pull the straps to the max. Like other shoes that offer such adjustment options the manufacturer does not make the Velcro strips long enough so I always have to add more, that's my only complaint so I give them five stars!

I LOVE these sandals! The ability to adjust straps at every contact point with my foot is a game changer. I have to wear orthopedic shoes due to fallen arches and bunions and usually pay twice as much as these cost.

Not as great as praised in reviews. Not much on cushioning and straps leave marks on my feet no matter how I loosen them.
