Crane Creek, Lightweight 2/3-person trekking tent, waterproof backpacking tent for camping and hiking

Bought the three person Marmot Crane Creek for a camping weekend in the Lake District and found the tent to be very spacious for the two of us and also very waterproof, the first day it lashed down for 5 hours and not a drop came in, also found it to have excellent ventilation not a drop of condensation found whilst using it. The tent goes up inner first so will get wet if erecting in the rain, the tent only came with five hook pegs and six required if you are not pegging the inner tent down that would need an extra four but we were lucky and had enough extra pegs to peg inner tent and guy out the flysheet, also found that the four guy ropes only had three tensioners so you best check before leaving for your trip, we used two sleeping mats 50cm wide but you will not get a third mat in this wide. Overall an excellent tent for two people wanting to get away in the Spring Summer or Autumn.

Just 4 ropes and 6 pegs. The brow pole has no special pockets for additional fixation and may damage the tent. The internal part is just a thin net, so the tent is unsuitable for cold weather. Definitely not "3 season". Upd: There is not even a net to make a "ceiling"

Advertised with a ground sheet, didn't receive it. Came faster that in advert

Was disappointed with this tent and returned it. The quality seemed poor. I had a Marmot Limelight 2 person tent which was excellent and thought this would be similar. It wasn't. The flysheet seemed really cheap quality and nothing like my other tent. The inner tent was also not great and it was too bright and attracted insects. Didn't use it in rain so don't know if it any good or not. Didn't take chance and returned it.

La compré con descuento y fue casi un regalo, una marca muy buena, excelentes materiales, espaciosa, aguanta temperaturas frías, impermeable, excelente calidad. 100% recomendable.

I ordered this tent as a replacement for the Marmot limelight 2P that I have been using now for over a decade. While my old tent is still worthy and in service, I felt it was time for a new one. This version is a welcome upgrade of my original. The quality is exceptional, tape job on the seams are spot on, the zippers are solid and open / close effortlessly. The best improvement is a second door and a second vestibule ( slightly smaller than the main one). Everything about this tent is solid and well worth the carrying weight. If it is anything like my current model (and I suspect it is) it will hold up to strong winds using the provided guylines and will stay high and dry in the heaviest rain. The only complaint I have ( if I can have one) is it only comes with 4 guylines and 6 tent stakes. I like to personally use more, but it is sufficient for most situations. I recommend this item without reservation.

Los materiales son buenos, pesa poco y es compacta para ser de 2 plazas. El suelo es bastante fino, recomendable buscar un suelo externo. Para invierno no sirve, la cubierta se queda alta y entra viento por los laterales. Puede ser una solución no instalar la barra horizontal, con eso consigues bajar el nivel de la cubierta y que no entre tanto aire. La habre utilizado unos 30 veces en un año y de momento aguanta bien.
