CARAVAN / KITCHEN CUPBOARD DOOR GARBINA WASTE BIN

Decided to use both my integrated bins for recycling and get this garbina for rubbish - as there is so much recycling and not much trash. I had one before and my then flatmate complained it was too small, but for me in my little galley kitchen it is perfect. I like it because it is very easy to use (flips up when you open the cupboard), it is a good height for ease of use - no bending or pedals, and it effectively uses space when that is limited (got it on door of under sink cupboard). I have a waste master so stuff goes down there and then my intention is to empty this garbina every couple of days when I go out ( I used to empty by bigger bin when it was only half full as it would smell before filling up). So overall, I think this is a good solution for a kitchen bin in a small kitchen when most trash nowadays is recycling.

I have used these Garbinas in the back of a cupboard door in my kitchen for several years and have always been happy with them. However this latest one has a different type of fixing from my previous ones which simply screwed on to the door. This one requires attaching a type of metal bracket that the bag holder slides on to. Unfortunately, every time I change the bag the holder comes off the bracket. I think I will have to dispense with the bracket and drill holes in the back of the holder so that I can screw it securely to the door. Otherwise it works very well and provides a useful way to recycle supermarket plastic bags!

These cupboard door waste bins are a brilliant answer for my kitchen, which is too small to have a waste bin sitting on the floor. They fit neatly on the inside of my sink door and due to their design ( Elastic cord fitted to the top lid) it opens automatically as you open the cupboard. I have had a Garbina door bin before and it lasted for about 10 years and when it broke last week I was so pleased to find that I could still purchase them! The customer service was marvellous too - I received it perfectly packaged only two days after ordering. Thank you very much for a great service.

This product is ideal for a small kitchen as it is fixed to the inside of a kitchen unit door therefore not taking any floor space.One can use any plastic bags left over from shopping so it is easy to recycle any surplus bags.The fitting is strong and will hold quite a large quantity of rubbish.

The cord which attaches the lid to the inside of the door was the same as the elastic which goes round the bin and was too thick to go through the hole in the lid. Luckily I had some cord but could have been a prblem

I have to say I have used these Garbina waste bins for years now. They last for years, I can't even remember when I bought the last one. So simple to attach to the back of the kitchen cupboard door under the sink (and even easier when you need to replace it). I never need to buy rubbish bags, I just use any plastic bag from normal shopping (family's shopping - I use permanent bags when possible). I have no reservations at all. Excellent quality, light, durable ... brilliant!

I have used this product for many years and feared it had gone out of production, my last one having finally fallen apart. Luckily I found it online,and am delighted with it. It uses up old plastic carrier bags- very eco-friendly, and is a simple and efficient waste bin at just the right size for the space available under the sink.
