Deeply Flawed Comfort
Comfortable, yes very. That isn't the problem though. There is no durability, all the joined pieces start pulling apart and then if the toe catches on anything like a step and bends back at all the whole footbed splits. Bad design and materials, but comfortable the week or so they last.

Better than Birkenstocks
So much better than Birkenstocks. I own 3 pair of Burks and will never wear them again thanks to these. They fit great and are insanely comfortable. I think they look way better, too. 11/10 from me

Comfy, durability is questionable
The top of the straps started to show texture wear within the first couple days, and the color gets dirty as expected but nothing abnormal with that

Comfort slide that has some caveats
You need to know that i literally live over sandals most of the time. so having a nice sandals that are comfortable is top priority for me. And this time the cushion tradewind almost blew all my expectations.Let's start on the appearance on this sandal. This is a very nice looking sandal, very well constructed, no lose stitches, even surfaces, no surplus on glue or rubber surfaces. These are trying to capitalize on the double band - cup insole sandals that are synonymous on Birkenstock brand that are very dad looking; but on this case, these have that surfer style that doesn't make them look old school, and that because they have the materials and construction concepts of reef brand. The comfort on this sandal is incredible, they used the same rubber material on insoles as the "now discontinued" cushion slides (which luckily i still have a pair shown one of the photos) but unlike these, the tradewinds have more contours on the insole, they have a little arch support and that in between toes bump that helps to not slide your feet all the way to the front of the sandal, that's really too soft to be an issue. Each one of the straps has some Velcro that let you adjust as thigh as you like; on the inside they have this nice soft on touch textile that's not very hot on long periods of use. These definitively are not like the Birkenstock's designs that has those hard to adjust buckles and sometimes hard cork borders, but insole contours are not as predominant so have in mind that.On the soles side they look very sturdy, they are made on another material that feels very resilient and has some traction unlike reef smoothies or cushion slides, so this is really an upgrade on these old models, but also i must advise that don't try to overdo it on these, as the sole pattern is very flat, so i don't recommend using these for hiking, but you can take a walk on a town or use them as much as you like in your house. Also sizing is very spot on, i usually wear an US 8.5 (EU 41) but, as most brands do, in between sizes are not an option, so i normally wear 9 and in this case it fits a bit too lose (which is expected), just enough to fasten tight the straps and I'm in!, so i think this is very accurate sizing and don't recommend going up or down.As you noticed my score is not perfect and that's because the upper material has some issues. I have some expectations that these bands will not last too much in good condition, as you see the straps they are very thin, i mean, like really thin. I loved the blue color on these, but they wrinkled so fast that they even came whit these marks even when i get em out of the delivery bag they came in. even though these marks disappears when you wear them, as they stretch on your feet naturally, but the straps still gives me the perception they are the weakest part on these sandals and they'll be the first part to fall apart over time.As writing on this review the price for these were around $40-$50 so it's worth the price? well maybe, as for durability concerns this is really an issue, and only time will tell. but on the other aspects on these sandals (especially comfort), I think this is really worth the price, not as costly as other brands like olukai, but with all the benefits on comfort and style.
