Really well made, and super entertaining to watch. But the data imparted is invaluable and really not what you were expecting.

I approached this with an open mind. The only preconception I had was that I might consider eating less meat in the future to play whatever small part I can in lessening the burden on the environment. I was blown away by this documentary, delivering new science and hard hitting facts through interviews, science based experiments and anecdotal evidence. From the early revelation that the ancient Gladiators thrived on an exclusively plant-based diet to the endurance milestones of individuals that have converted to veganism, the story is compelling. Understanding the impact that the meat elements of the food chain have on the planet's ecosystem was mind-blowing. If you want to help the planet, reduce your likeliness of heart disease, increase and increase your endurance and sexual prowess, watch this film. For me this was a life-changing watch and since watching I have dropped meat and dairy from my diet. The film's supporting website is also choc full of recipes and information to help you transition. This is a must watch for all meat eaters!

I'm not normally interested in diet programmes or medical issues generally, but this film was a fascinating revelation to me. All based on detailed provable research it is clear that for a really healthy body plant based foods are a necessity. The fact that changing to plant based foods may also save the planet is, of course, a huge bonus. I was astounded to hear that the "animals for food" industry not only spends billions each year to persuade us wrongly that humans cannot survive without meat, but also to hear that this industry generate more greenhouse gases than all forms of transport including cars, flying, shipping etc. added together! There is no way I can overnight change the way I live - but we have made a start already and it will continue and progress. This film should be shown free of charge in all schools across the world!

Very interesting program looking at how you can still be sporty on a plant based diet. Also shows the health benefits well and addresses the historical myths. Has inspired my son and i to give it a try. Lost a star as it would have been good if it had given more tips on how to get started.

Well put together documentary and also entertaining. If your interested in sport, diet and training it's a must watch whether you buy into the content or not. Always good to have a balanced view on things and listen to counter arguments.I've been reading sport science textbooks since 2005 and have subsequently always told people animal protein has better bioavailability and plant based protein is incomplete with certain missing amino acids, now with some research showing no disadvantage to plant based diets or even more benefits I'm going to test it on myself and see what happens, not by cutting anything out but balancing out an increase in CHO with a reduction in protein and that from animal sources in particular. I've been slowely going that way anyhow so why not?Anyway, to sum up, it's worth a watch with some good visualisation on land used up for farming.

Very good. Along with reading "How to prevent and reverse Heart Disease " by Dr Esselstyn, it has been life changing for me.I did the whole food, plant based way of life for 6 months, then I went back to old eating habits and that's when I realised just what a difference eating the right way had made.Now I won't look back and I genuinely believe that in time, anyone who wants to give themselves the best chance of a healthy retirement, will eat this way. The difference has been nothing short of amazing.

Trotz einem Lieferproblem, bei dem die DVD leider veloren gegangen ist, hat der Verkäufer sich persönlich bei mir gemeldet und schnellstmöglich für Ersatz gesorgt. A great video documentary which will motivate you towards healthy food choices that will keep you healthy. The truth in healthy eating is hard to find. This book is a great start. Also, younger people will better identify with this documentary.
