I bought some Dickies jeans on Amazon that were incredibly cheap....the button was about an inch in the wrong direction so I bought these.They are a bit of a faff to get through which jeans because the threaded stem has a flat end.You use the screwdriver to pierce through the denim. That works fine but it's a pain to get it through the second side of denim.I ended up wlidenjng the hole with the screwdriver enough to get the threaded stem through, then used the screwdriver to open the hole on the front side enough to get it through.Once the stem is through, you're in business. Youscrew on the front button and use the screwdriver to tighten the back.I'll check it after the first wash to see if it comes loose and post an update.Dickies are thicker than normal jeans. You might not have trouble with ordinary jeans. 17mm bronze fits the button hole perfectly.I didn't have the heart to mark these down to 4 stars because I'm not sure the design can be improved

Haven't used these yet but they seem like they're good quality. Get a decent amount for the price.

Worked well for what I bought these for as a replacement button. Easy to secure with the tool supplied.

I was quite impressed with these when I first examined these on arrival, but on using them I have come across a couple of issues.Firstly the little screwdriver provided doesn't make a large enough hole to get the inside threaded section through. Secondly during their first wash in the washing machine, the button because unscrewed and fell off, even though I had tightened it all together with their screwdriver. On refitting the button I find that the outer part of the fitment moves inside its outer cover. The only way to get over the problem I think is to use long nose pliers to stop it moving.
