Nice looking lamp shade but very tricky to put up. You need a pendant fitting, the top section is too big for a flusher fitting. This top section is loose so doesn’t help when you’re trying to balance and put in the screws. Screws are tiny so can’t do by hand and the cage gets in the way. Took two of us half an hour

Looks great in my kitchen to go with my new ceiling, really easy to install,looks really nice with the vintage edison bulbs and gives of a nice warm light. Very happy 😊

This is a very attractive lantern which is essentially just a lamp shade and can be fitted onto most threaded lamp holders (with an inner ring for smaller holders, which can be removed for larger lampholders). The listing mentions bulb types, which is strange as there is no bulb holder in this, it is simply a shade. There are no electrical fixings required, you just need a suitable pendant lamp holder with a screw thread to secure the shade.The stone coloured metal cowling is fixed to the bulb holder, the bulb inserted, then the metal shade which covers the bulb is screwed on. This is slightly fiddly as the lamp holder is up in the air at this point.
It does call for a nice bulb, I have an “Edison” style LED filament bulb in it.I’m using mine in my greenhouse, which suits it really well. It’s slightly industrial, a bit retro, a bit outdoorsy (though not designed for this), a bit fisherman/Cornish cottage looking. I really like it!

Been wanting a "fisherman light" for a while come across this and thought a good price so thought I would order. I chose the cement/ stone effect thinking this would be more cream but its grey and the cage around the light bulb is not like the photos, pictures advertised it is not silver colour its the same as the shade disappointed by this but I am stillngoing to fit the light fitting as itsnon theme and was a good would have been 5 stars if it was same as picture advertised

Love this light however I purchased with the bulb and the bulb stopped working after one week.

Lovely light shades look great up, only down fall is very fiddly to fit the cage on after bulb change but other than that good value for a lovely looking shade.

Really pleased with the 2 I bought, excellently packaged. I put together and hung them up in my hall in absolute 10 minutes each. Look more expensive than they are. Chuffed to bits with them
