First throw I caught shad! Very durable I threw it many times on one trip in flooded lake,after pulling out sticks debris,no damage,good enough weight to do the job.comes with repair kit..when shipped the way they tightly packaged it there is a memory spot just down from the horn but maybe it will eventually relax over use.id buy it again.

Quality is okay
This net will probably not last a year if you fish often. If you only use it a few times out of the year, you will probably be fine. If you use a casting net often, look for a more durable one.

Too light to toss right
I couldn't throw it past my own hand reach, so couldn't get the mullet that were running 10' from me. Went back to the original lead weights, as these are useless

Works for baitfish. If you use it for a pond dredge, it won't last. . .
This cast net worked well once I got the hang of throwing it. Watch some youtube videos of the pros. Really helps. Comes with a case to store it in, which is nice. Make sure you rinse the net and dry it out before you store it, or you will regret it next season when you open that box. ew. Why only three stars? I have floating weeds in my pond, and purchased this to haul some of them out. My fault, I know, but it would not stand up to the heavy load and tore after about 30 throws. Use it to haul in baitfish. Not coontail, and you'll be fine.
