This product actually works. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it stains badly! It should be used in a salon setting with black sinks, as it will stain any other colored sinks. You must use plenty of water to rinse out all the residue from the hair. I recommend following with a good detangling conditioner, especially for individuals with natural, coarse hair. If you have European hair types—oily and fine—you won’t need a detangling conditioner.

Tried this the first time and am so dissatisfied. Other coloring shampoo works but not this. It did not cover my gray roots.

High coverage but it WILL stain everything! It does not fade easily

I was not sure about using this but I finally gave it a try. The color I chose was dark brown. It is very dark brown which is fine as it is my natural color. The process was very easy and fast. Just keep an eye out for any drips onto surfaces or your skin. I found two drips on my leg and foot that were almost impossible to remove once they sat there for a few minutes. Keep a soapy washcloth nearby to wipe your face and ears as you apply it so that it does not sit for too long. I left it for 20 minutes and then I did a deep conditioner for 15 minutes. Once I blow-dried my hair the color looks amazing and the shine is very nice. The hair looks healthy. It did not have a strong odor as store-bought products do and my hair feels very soft. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star is because of the staining that they should warn you about so that you don't leave it on your skin too long. Also because mine did not foam the way they show it in the pictures here. It was a light foaming but not the way they show it. I will probably continue using this depending on how fast it washes out.
