Dyna-Glo10,000 BTU Natural Gas Blue Flame vent free wall heater, White

Had a 30000 btu heater for a cold basement, Heater was a dual fuel lp and ng. Gas valve failed 2nd season no replacement avail til Aug. Heater excellent gas valve not so much. Just installed this one and install very easy. lights right up. Will see how many seasons this does but am hopeful. Will let know tomorrow how this does on 750 sq ft basement in the am at full blast.Note: Air leak around garage door, outdoor temp in 20's Obviously less heat produced but warmer in basement. This will be perfect in my shop and will have 30K fixed this summer.

I have had the other brand and it lasted 3yrs. and I truly didn't like it. I love this heater, it doesn't heat up my bathroom sink like the HR did and it's a third of the cost. It heats my master bedroom and bath perfectly, I will be purchasing more when the other 2 HR quit. This is what I use with my HVAC, it just helps when it's super cold or if my electric would go down. It was easy to hook up too!

I bought this because in Minnesota winter can get - 10 to - 20 below or more . If my electricity goes out my house could freeze up. This no flue; no chimney type heater is great for emergency situations. Good for garage & basement that has alot ventilation. These are not good for bedroom or living room. What they didn't till you is the smell. Right away I could smell smoke & if you smell close to the flames I can smell natural gas. It even set off my smoke alarm after a while. If a member of your family has asthma keep this heater out of the house. This heater need high ventilation. Check your local codes before buying.

Very good heater, but doesn't have a thermostat so you constantly have to get up to turn the heater up and down.Make sure you have a well ventilated room also.
