If you're like me, you want a darkened room when you sleep but are hamstrung with every stinking piece of technology having a bright "always-on" blue, green or white LED lighting everything like it's perpetual dusk.These stickers go a long way to fixing this situation. Of course, you could use good old black tape, but that leaves any indicator unreadable and, in most cases, these lights are there to provide much needed information. Then, if you want to remove the black tape, there's the issue of residue (especially if it's been there for a long time).That's where these stickers shine. They dim the light to a perfect amount so you can still see the LEDs, but they don't illuminate the room in a dull glow. I use them on my cable box, cable modem, wireless router, digital watch charger and even the smoke detector outside my bedroom (little bastard has a blinking green LED). And when it comes time to remove them, they come off cleanly. If you put one on and feel the application is crooked or doesn't cover the light(s) completely, they can be easily removed and reapplied. As for adherence, I've had no problem. But I clean the surfaces so they are free of dust and oils before the stickers are applied.I saw one review note that they do not adhere well to silicone surfaces. I have not tried but can understand if they don't. All I can say is that every one I've put on a plastic surface has held up well.As for price, I paid $8 and feel I got my money's worth. There may be cheaper, identical items out there in the Amazon-verse if you look around but I'm happy with my purchase.

I bought this after reading reviews on similar products that said the adhesive was no good, thankfully these stickers has good adhesive on first placement, if you pull them off and adjust them they will lose some of their adhesiveness. I'm not sure about it blocking 80% of light with one sticker, definitely makes a big difference though I would say around 60% dimmer at least. Of course you can stack these as much as you like, I put 4 layers on my computer speaker LEDs and for the most part it is 99% blocked. Convenient that it comes with two sheets, one with circles ranging from a pencil thickness in diameter up to about a thumb width circle, a few squares and a few straps but also a sheet that let's you cut them to whatever size you needed. A word of warning you might want to make sure you have one edge of the custom shape on the edge of the film where you can still see the plastic backing on one side because these stickers are difficult to pull off the plastic sheet (great, means adhesive is good) I had to use a knife to go under the edge and lift them away before placing. Photos show before (sorry for focus/blur issue) and after of my electric blankets control pad, before putting in these stickers the blue LED strip was VERY bright, but after one layer of sticker it is still illuminated enough to see how high the blanket is set to but not bright enough to light up my bedroom blue.

These stickers are thin and a bit difficult to get off the sheet. Especially the tiny ones. And in order to completely block the light, you will need to double up. As stated in the instructions, they do not block 100% of the light with just one. You might need up to 3 to do that. But they work. I wish they would have made them thicker to do it with just one and to be able to get off the sheet easier.And the 4 star because it shows that you get 2 sheets and for some reason I only got 1 in a sealed package. A production glitch I assume.

These are great if you want to just dim the lights and you don't need it totally black. That is probably preferable for most people as they need to see their indicator lights. I, however, suffer from insomnia and need it pitch black in my bedroom. I like the cut outs and I used several of the small circles (layered on top of one another) for the monitor and hearing aid charger. But I finally gave up and used electrical tape that my daughter's boyfriend brought over. It is thick black tape that completely blocks the light, which this does not.

Easy to apply if you're a bit careful. The amount of tint was perfect for a single piece application. As expected a bit too dark to read during the daytime which is not a problem for a bedroom clock of course. At night the clock is easily readable without a glare being projected about the dark bedroom. Adhesion seems excellent.

I didn't think these would work as well as they did. We have a lot of little lights from various appliances in our room that keep us up, so I got these and now our bedroom is pitch-black at night. Its so dark I need my phone to guide me to the bathroom. You get way more stickers than you'll use for one room so you can make your entire house dark if you want :D

Cons:-Not as sticky as similar products from Different brands-Anything with a soft or silicone-like coating/texture, it will not stick on-If object gets too warm they fall off regardless of surfacePros:+Great Variety of Sizes and the cut your own is nice+Sticks well on room temperature hard plastic/metal/glass surfaces even if textured+Blocks enough light for the lights not to bother me while sleeping, but I can still see the lights enough to troubleshoot any of my electronics if I need toAll in all I was not disappointed with my purchase and would recommend

These stickers reduce the brightness of LCD and LED display or lights in or on devices. I have a lot of electronics in my room with bright led indicator lights and some LCD displays. They were just too bright which makes it hard to sleep. Put a few of these bad boys on here and suddenly the room was more dim. Far better, now I can sleep!

With my desktop PC having to be located where it is (on my desktop!) the LED in the power switch shines brightly into my eye whenever I'm on my computer. I did have a piece of folded paper over the light, held in position by a magnet. Although this alleviated the brightness of the LED, it was a bit unsightly and was prone to being disturbed. Then my son discovered these Flancci LED dimmer coverings, and they are brilliant. I used two on the power switch LED and one on the HDD LED. The LED is still visible but the light is subdued to a very comfortable non-dazzling level. The coverings do not really notice (my PC is black) and they work really well.

They're not particularly sticky and so fall off some items quite easily. Requires multiple stickers to dim lights to expected level. Overpriced for what it delivers. Will stick to electrical tape in future.

These sheets are ridiculously overpriced for two TINY (A6) sheets of black printed plastic! There is zero glue on them, they must hope they will stick magnetically but that won‘t stay on at all. I‘ll be returning mine immediately.

These are great - I bought them to cover the LEDs on an extension cord that shines right into my line of sight. They work really well, you can still see if the socket is on or not but they dim it really effectively. Good value for money.
