Surprisingly effective controller mod!
Although installation is more difficult than I expected, the mod itself functions wonderfully, and really does yield clickier back paddles that never misfire.Regarding installation, I'd forego the included tools, and use high quality Torx drivers (Wera, Snap On etc.). Otherwise, you may cam out the fasteners, making installation much more complicated, if not impossible. Finally, prying off my controller top shell was very difficult. The included tool was fine, but you'll need to use far more force than you'd hope. I was sure I was going to snap the shell in half, and almost quit the installation right then. Although useful, the video instructions probably should have mentioned the need for exceptional force, and offered some tips regarding the removal process. They made it appear trivial, and it probably is once you've opened your controller a few times. But few consumers have likely done this yet, and given the Elite V2 cost, it's daunting.Nonetheless, I'm glad I finished the install as my controller back paddles now feel fantastic! If I could just swap in clickier face buttons, the controller would feel just about perfect in hand.

Can be used as a direct replacement instead of an enhancement
The pads on my Xbox Series Elite 2 Controller were showing signs of wear. One of the right paddles was flaky. These pads are advertised as enhancements and the seller's video shows how they can be installed on top of the existing pads.Well, given that my pads were worn out, I didn't want to simply install them on top. I inquired with the seller, who confirmed that their pads can be used as direct replacements. And that's what I did.The kit includes a plastic spudger, two Torx screwdrivers and, of course, two complete sets of left and right pads (4 pads total). I have opened up my controller a few times before and I will say that the plastic spudger is not the greatest tool. I ended up using a metal spudger from a right bumper switch replacement kit that is far better. Granted, a metal tool carries the danger of marring the plastic on the controller.Once you pop the cover of the controller off, there are 6 Torx screws that need to be removed. Then you can lift out the top half of the controller. That will expose the two postage stamp sized circuit boards that contain the pads. The 2 screws on each circuit board can be removed with the other Torx screwdriver included in the kit. Then you flip the board over to reveal the pads. Here the seller's video shows their pads being installed on top of the existing pads. Instead, I removed my worn-out pads and put in the new pads. Then I put everything back together. The seller claims that the new pads are a little stiffer than the original. I will say that I cannot tell any difference. The important thing is that they work! No more flaky paddles. Since the seller provided 2 sets, I have another set in case I have to do this again. All in all, I am very satisfied. This seller seems to be the only one that sells these pads. I am glad I found them.

Slick Upgrade
Easy, 10-minute install. Nice upgrade for a more tactile response from the paddles. I like that it comes with 2 sets, whether you're upgrading 2 controllers or just as a backup set.

Very cliky and fixed paddle
These are amazing, feels great and made all the paddles feel like new. One of the paddles was barely working and I had to push very hard until I added this enhancement. Works perfectly now.

My Advice: Cut Them in Half
I use these in conjunction with the eXtremeRate back paddles, which are much larger than the stock Elite Series 2 paddles (much more comfortable for my large hands.) I love the more tactile click they give the bottom paddles (they feel squishy without these), but I don't like how stiff they make the top paddles (it feels like you have to make a conscious effort to click them, which isn't what you want in the heat of battle.)My solution to this was to cut them in half and only install them for the bottom paddles (thankfully eXtremeRate includes 2 sets in the box.) Now I have the more tactile click on the bottom without the added stiffness on the top. After installing them this way, the stiffness and click feel very similar on both the top and bottom (the top paddles naturally have a bit more of a click than the bottom on my controller), so it's perfect.

Easiest fix ever
Recently my Elite has had issues first the bumper then the back buttons, after fighting with soldering and learning how that all works. this was a breeze and now my controller is back to it's old self.
