This is an ok and simple case that’s very versatile but it will alter the sound quality of your tablet. I bought a different case for my boyfriend and his sound quality remains pretty good with better protection. Pros: it does have handles and has the ability to fold over into a stand. Cons: its cheap. It feels cheap. It’s cute but it’s not worth the money in my opinion. If you’re looking for something cheap that’ll get the job done then this will be great for you but I’m looking for something a little better.

Nice cover for the price. Does NOT have the wake/sleep feature. New 7th generation Fire fits inside very securely. The side 'frame' interferes with swiping a little bit, but since it also gives me a little thicker, more comfortable area to hold and keeps my fingers off the screen, it's a good tradeoff. The increased area to grip on the left side when the cover is fastened to the back is good, too.EDIT: Discovered to make the auto sleep/wake feature work, i had to reposition my Fire a bit to get it as far in the frame as possible so the magnets lined up just right. Once I got it moved over to the right about 1/8", the sleep/wake feature worked.

Seems well built. Cutouts for all buttons, ports, and speakers are perfect for the 2017 HD8. Love the handle on the inside of the case to slide your hand thru to hold the case in portrait mode. Holding the case in landscape is great too. Easy to grip and enough room to hold without interfering with the screen. The auto screen feature is kinda iffy. The case has to be closed and line up with the far side for the magnets to be effective. It's a non issue if you ask me since tapping the power button does the same thing. Would buy again! fit perfectly and I love the picture... My only complaint is that the "frame" covers the home button somewhat and I have to pull it back to have full access for the button, otherwise I only hit half of it and sometimes whatever screen I am on thinks I want to do something other than go back home.

Well built, strong and reliable.The fit around the screen is rather bulky and could give a bit more slenderness for pull down menus on the devices screenYou have to rotate upside down to make that gesture work.

i ordered two of this cover; one for me and one for a family member who has a Fire 8 6th Gen. The covers work as advertised, are lightweight, and reasonably durable. Now, one of the NUYEA coves I had a malfunctioning sleep/wake feature. I called Amazon and the cover was replaced. The replacement works perfectly. Thank you Amazon for continued exceptional customer service; and thank you NUYEA for a pair of nice covers.
