This is a beautifully illustrated book. Each story has a double spread with the story written in easily understood language on one side, a picture on the other with the lesson drawn from the story. Some lesser known stories are covered so it is a good way for children to hear about them without having to look at the whole story in the Bible which would be too difficult for them. A good gift for children of junior school age

Good children's story bible.

This is the best young children's Bible story book that I have found. It stays true to the Bible- rather than adding or taking things away from the Bible stories. It also does not leave out important details that other story books often do. It is the equivalent of summarizing what you just read in a Bible story. I HIGHLY recommend this! It also does not show any pictures of Jesus which I consider a plus.
