Great for the price
Got this for £28 and at that price it cannot be beaten. Use a fluke for work however purchased this as a spare / for home use.Unable to review the longevity of the item as I will be very rarely using it however my previous experiences with testo have all been positive.

Excllent multimeter, works really well. The auto range feature works great, nic and robust, could do with a case tho.

Consider type2 instead!
This is a quality measuring instrument. I have previously enjoyed using the type2 model. This time I choose the type1, since I don't need the temperature adapter. What I didnt know is that there are also other differences worth considering. For example, the type 2 has an auto mode for resistance measurement that type1 is missing!I regret I didnt choose type2!

Inaccurate Meter!!!
I bought this meter to to diagnose circuits. Resistance in wiring, and measure millivolts.It does a terrible job!! The ohms will bounce around with nothing touching the leads.While testing resistance, sometimes it will bounce around.This meter might be ok for ac, but its lousy for what i need it for.(so disappointed as i have several other Testo tools and those work good)

Funktioniert und macht einen Hochwertigen Eindruck
Ich brauchte ein neues Multimeter und wollte bis ca. 80 oder 100 Euro ausgeben.Fluke war mir zu teuer. Benning habe ich bei der Arbeit. Aber das Benning gefällt mir gar nicht so gut.Dann hab ich Testo gefunden. Ohne Drehregler finde ich richtig gut! Automatisch schaltet die Anzeige auf den richtigen Bereich um. Das geht schnell und funktioniert! Messkabel (ganz gute Qualität) und Batterien (leicht einzubauen) sind dabei. Großes Display auch beleuchtet wenn man Knöppchen drückt. Geht von allein aus wenn man ausschalten vergisst. Auf der Internetseite des Herstellers hat man schnell alles Wissenswerte über das Gerät gefunden. Gibt nur 3 Modelle da hat man schnell das Richtige gefunden.Nix ist schlimmer wie 20 verschiedene Ausführungen die alle gleich aussehen und sich auch sonst kaum unterscheiden (Benning)
