Another blast of nostalgia...
This version of 'The Invisible Man' was first shown in the U.K. during the Autumn of 1975, with the pilot airing on Friday 26th of September 1975 (with 'Scooby Do' & the 'Wombles' on that afternoon, while 'The Invisible Man' - which started at 6.50 p.m. - was followed by 'Dad's Army' & 'The Liver Birds'! Those were the days). Despite this being nearly 50 years ago I still have clear memories of watching, and enjoying, this series and I was disappointed it only lasted for one series (It was replaced, a year later, by the 'Gemini Man' starring Ben Murphy.) With regard to this blu-ray - all thirteen episodes are on three discs, shown in their original 4:3 aspect and, overall, I am impressed with the quality of picture and the sound. I would definitely recommend to lovers of '70's TV and nostalgia buffs! All we need is for 'Gemini Man' to be released on 'blu-ray' in the U.K. and I'll be happy!Note - Originally 'Fabulous Films' sent the wrong disc. I contacted them, via Amazon, and, amazingly, they responded within seven minutes (!) and immediately sent me the right discs, which arrived first thing the next morning, so 'Five Stars' for their prompt action as well.

Full fight scene in the very 1st episode?
I seem to remember when I watched the very 1st episode in September 1975, some 47 years ago, there was a full fight scene involving The Invisible Man of which just featured his clothing & the other chappie! However, it's not featured here on this Blu-Ray/DVD release so maybe I saw the scene in some other television show or it was not included here or my memory is playing tricks on me?

Wonderful to see again.
I remember this from years ago and missed it when it ended. I bought the DVD and thoroughly enjoyed it second time around. Too bad the series didn't last.

First impressions are good for the Fabulous 2023 release
I've only looked at disc 1 so far but it does look much better than the DVD. Everything is brighter, clearer and sharper. Even in the special effects shots (which are not available as true HD so have been upscaled) I can see a sight improvement. In one of my attached images taken from an effects shot there is more detail in the red shirt.Additionally there are two scenes in the pilot episode on the blu ray (totalling 1 minute) which were cut from the DVD, so the indication is that these have been remastered completely from scratch.
