3 Pieces Jinhao 82 Fountain Pen Purple, Blue and Green Fine Nib Gold Trim with Converter Set

I adore these pens! If you're just getting into the hobby, or if you don't have a lot of money and like to have several pens inked at the same time, these pens are fantastic! They're not as smooth as a high-end pen, but they're not scratchy either. I've bought several Jinhao pens, and I have never had any issues with them.These pens post securely.The clip is a little tight, so I wouldn't really want to use it. You can remove it by unscrewing the top of the cap, but then it would be prone to roll.I have had some issues with the flow in the blue pen, but I'm 99% sure it's the ink's fault. I love the color of Sailor's Haha, but it has been too dry for my taste in my experience. The green pen handled Organic Studios Walden Pond Blue well enough considering how misbehaved that ink tends to be, and the purple pen handled Alexander Hamilton beautifully.

I just received my trio of the Jinhao 82 pens. I thought I would save one for a gift to a friend, so I hurried and inked two of them. They are really nice writers. I ordered the extra fine nibs, and they both lay down a very thin line and there is a little variation on the down stroke if you add a small amount of pressure. There is just a tiny bit of feedback but very smooth indeed. I use the ARC notebooks from Staples; their paper is very friendly for fountain pens and the white shows off the inks well. I loaded both pens with Diamine Presidential blue and it flows well. I might mention that these pens are acrylic, so they are light in the hand and write better when posted. The cap unscrews for writing, but is a friction fit to post. For the price point, the pens look and write like much more expensive pens.

I got the Mixed Macaron collection and they are absolutely gorgeous! I have several Jinhao 82 fountain pens and I love them all but these are absolutely beautiful the way the colors are mixed and matched! All three pens write extremely well, as do all of my 82s. I matched them up with some suitable colors and use them daily! Love them so much I’ve since gifted a set to a family member who also loves fountain pens!

Items arrived in perfect condition. The pens are light and I like that the cap screws on.
