So far, so good as far as performance is concerned. In fact, I purchased these Eaton models because "Eaton" manufactures large components that I've seen in place at the chemical plant that I work at to control lighting circuits. I bought them to replace a bunch of GFCI that are tripping constantly for no logical reason in my 10 year old house. I guess that it is better that a faulty/old GFI trip more often rather than remain hot and dangerous. But I would have thought that GFI's would last longer than 10 years. Hopefully these Eatons will last longer than 10 years...

The product seems to be good quality and the installation is simple as long as you’re familiar with outlet/GFCI installation (watch a YouTube video if you aren’t). The tamper resistant feature can be a bit annoying and can even lead people who are unfamiliar with TR to think the outlet is broken. However, electrical code is beginning to require TR outlets in certain spaces.

Tested both the test and reset button. It works as it should. I like the LED indicator light that shows when ground fault triggers. My previous outlet had ghost trips which this new outlet fixed.

Instructions with pictograph are extremely helpful with setup. They also provide troubleshooting information and testing information. Product is well made and you definitely can tell when it trips.

It seems to be an ok outlet. the tamper resistant tabs make it very hard to connect appliances with 2 prong plugs to it.

Direct replacement for failed unit from other vendor. So far, so good. Appears to be quality unit.

W0ell made GFCI. Far fewer defective after 1 year than other name brand we have used. Thru this site they are better priced than buying in bulk locally.

This is NOT a 2-pole device (which one would use for a split circuit).Amazon should change the description.
