Great for sketching with, non-waterproof ink.
Works great with the dip pen, flow is good and when photocopied the copy is as good as the original (The ink is consistent) be aware if you need to work with water colours or washes the ink will move, as it says on the photo, it's non waterproof, great product.

Great ink! good quality
These inks have never let me down, the flow of them are always perfect and they have great pigment. they work easily with water to great an ink wash where some other inks can almost become oily through using water whereas these do not.

True to colour
Used for Christmas cards and also for some modelling, e.g. 'For Sale' sign like an estate agent would use but in miniature, on card.

Essential
High quality black ink that can be used easily for smooth, intense lines as well as to create unique textures with stunning levels of depth.A valued part of my creative process, as I seem to use it in almost every piece, from simple drawings to more extravagant paintings.Arrived in its usual box that you'd find it in at an art store, secured safely inside an Amazon box. Came quickly and in perfect condition.

This is a free flowing ink in an attractive colour. Good for greetings cards.

Ink
A very small bottle. It is not good in a fountain pen but perhaps it is not designed for that.

Great coverage and shine
This silver ink was just what I was looking for. I'm a watercolor/mixed media artist and like to add embellishments to some of my abstract art. I use metallic watercolor but sometimes that just isn't strong/bright enough. This Winsor & Newton Silver Drawing Ink fits the bill. The color is strong, has great coverage, and adds just enough "Wow" to my work. You have to remember to shake the bottle well before opening it to use, and I then use my paint brush to get the ink in the cap. I find this is usually just enough paint for what I'm doing, if not, I simply replace the lid and shake again. The ink washes out of my brush with water and can also be thinned with a small amount of water. I read in a review or two that the cap becomes "glued" to the bottle sometimes, To prevent this, using my finger, I carefully apply a very small amount of Vaseline around the outside of the neck of the bottle before screwing on the lid for the first time. I use this same hint on all my tubes of watercolor/acrylic/oil paint. There is plenty of ink in the bottle for me to use on many, many projects, but if and when I run out, I will order again. I also have the ink in W&N Gold and hope to get a bronze/copper ink next.

It does not work with fountain pens
After trying to use it with a Visconti Homo Sapiens, a Montegrappa Elmo 01 and a Lamy 2000, I can say that this ink is not suitable for fountain pens. Unfortunately the product description says otherwise! All 3 pens could not start! This is the most horrible ink I have ever used with a fountain pen and it should not be purchased for this purpose!
