gave me a bad headache, can't tolerate it. Probably an inactive ingredient or something, but it didn't work for me. I noticed no benefits. I have mcas and the headache was too much to handle

I didn't know a lot about Huperzine A before I got this. I had heard about it as a nootropic to help with ADHD but that was about it. Or that it might help with concentration. I have all sorts of issues focusing so figured I would order this and give it a shot.Couple of things. There is a good chunk of information out there about Huperzine. I probably spent 20 minutes searching about it to understand dosing. Basically what I read was size of the dose varied, and you should not take it daily. So, for the past week and a half I have been taking the 11 drop dose every other day.I am not a huge fan of the flavor. It's minty, but weird. Like most tinctures, you hold it under your tongue which theoretically means you get the supplement directly into your bloodstream. I say theoretically because I do not understand the differences between tinctures in alcohol vs water (this is water) and the absorption rate of each under the tongue.At any rate, I did not notice any difference good or bad. But take that with a grain of salt. All supplements impact people in different ways. This appears to be a good quality product - manufactured in the US in a GMP facility. Allegedly third party tested although I didn't try and track down the results. And probably a good value - this says 220 servings at the recommended dose.Not for me, but perhaps my lack of focus isn't severe enough to notice a difference.

It is also used for depression, schizophrenia, and many other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these uses. When taken by mouth: Huperzine A is possibly safe when taken for less than 6 months. It can cause some side effects including nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, dry mouth, constipation, sweating, and blurred vision. It did none of this to me and I feel like my memory hsa improved since taking this for a week.

Huperzine-A is a well researched supplement derived from a traditional Chinese herb. The recommended dose on this bottle is 380 mcg which is a significant dose. If you do some reading you will see dose recommendations from 100 - 400 mcgs per day so depending on your needs this may be a little high. I've been trying this daily and my ultimate verdict is that I don't think it works as effectively as I hoped. I've been medically diagnosed with ADHD. I've heard that Huperzine is supposed to be beneficial cognitively and for ADHD. I didn't notice much of a difference with that.In fact, an hour after taking this I would start to feel a bit sleepy. So this just makes my eyes tired. I tried it with the full dose in the dropper as well as just smaller amounts in the dropper. The same results would happen regardless of how much or little I used.Not all supplements are a one size fits all. This may be proven to be effective for you, but this isn't something I would get again as there was nothing significantly helpful in terms of making me more alert and focused with it. It just made my eyes sleepy. It wasn't horrible, but nor was it fantastic, so I'm right in the middle where this was just okay. It does appear to be a high quality product so if Huperzine always works for you no matter the brand, then you may benefit from this.

I wanted to try this huperzine formula put after doing some research on its cognitive health benefits which i siggest everyone do a little bit of research first as theres a lot of information on the benefit of huperzine. .Dosing Is a little tricky with this supplement so I'm personally only taking it every other day to every few days. I haven't really noticed much yet, but I've only been taking it a week or so. But it being a nootropic, I really feel it's important supplement to add into my regimen. The Taste isn't terrible. Kind of minty. Nice sized bottle too, good value for the money!
