Great addition to health routine!
This product taste great and does help with painful morning stiffness and joint inflammation, I like to add it to warm oats milk with a pinch of ground black pepper, once a bedtime and again in the early morning routine.

It smells good , has a smoky test not very good but mix with chocolat nesquick powder and milk it test good. Black turmeric burn the fat and has so many benefits

Gritty/sandy
I'm not sure what's going on with this podiatrist but it is very gritty/ sandy almost like glass particles have been ground into it.

Admittedly I'm unfamilliar with black tumeric so am unsure how its suppose to smell... however, I know what mold smells like and it smells like it bad! Something to put in perspective.
