I purchased this to use as a foot stool when I'm sitting at my stand up desk. The bar around my chair is uncomfortable to use for longer periods of time. I really wasn't expecting much for the price, but I was very pleased. This is way sturdier than I anticipated. It's great for storing my notebooks and other things that normally clutter my desk. The material feels like good quality. It looks really nice and was really easy to assemble. I don't know if I would use it as a stool. It's sturdy, but not necessarily full grown adult sturday. For kids? 100% sturdy enough. I love it and I'm very happy with my purchase.

This storage ottoman is surprisingly sturdy. I saw videos of people sitting on it and was skeptical, but after receiving it, I can totally see somebody using it as a little stool in real life. The fabric quality is beautiful, and looks chic and not cheap! You can put it together in under a minute. There is a bit of a smell, but I’m assuming it will go away with offgassing. (If I don’t notice the smell going away, I will update my review.) I bought this as a footstool, but throw a nice tray on it, and it becomes a little end table! Plus you have the storage capability. All in all this is a great value.

Just unpacked it and it is exactly what I was hoping for. This is well made, I am impressed with the stitching on the cushion. I was so afraid from some of the comments that it was just a thin collapsible box as found in the dollar store. I do not agree, the box seems to be well constructed and durable. I broke my toe and needed elevation for circulation but needed a certain height, this is exactly as described and fits perfect. The cushion top is soft to touch, is not rough on your skin , it is sturdy and warmer than a plastic or vinyl would be. Now I do not intend to sit on this because I would have problems getting up from it, so I cannot attest as to whether it would hold my weight, but I will say I would trust that it would be fine. It looks great in my room. and very functional as I can store extra slippers or books in it. There is no funky smell and easy to pick up and move as needed. Right now I could not be happier.

Honestly I bought this as a steeping stool for my cat to get up to higher places. He is getting older and needs some help. For this purpose it works great. It was easy to assemble .If I were purchasing this for a person, I woiuld think it lacked some functionality. It seems to me much smaller than what I thought I was getting. It is fine for storage but this is not made the greatest and will not hold up to a lot of weight. A kid might be able to sit on it but I am not sure how well it will work for holding up feet. Mainly because it is much smaller height than the livingroom chairs we have.

I like it. Looks good and it fits my need. I love the aspect that this ottoman also functions as a storage. The height of the ottoman is perfect for me. The top cushion has just right firmness and softness.

smaller than i thought and doesn’t seem as sturdy as i expected. also it has a very strong chemical smell. tried to air it out for a few days but it’s still there. it’s nauseating. also it’s a little difficult to take the top off and put on. definitely don’t stand on it

Great little foot rest and stool! Matches perfect with my little couch and looks great! Super easy to assemble. Very sturdy to stand on.
