I use these for my custom dog tags I sell. They are really good and sturdy. For my own dog, I use a small latch but I did try it out without it and the ring does not get messed up. Definitely buying more once I run out.

these are not the best quaility, but are a great general use split rings. I use them to attach dog tags to collars. Perfect.

Product came as described. The rings worked well and they came in a little plastic baggy.

Used these to put my dogs tags on and they hold up very nicely.

gauge of stainless steel makes these rings weak.

I purchased these thinking they would be stronger than the rings that come with pet tags. I was in thinking they were stronger, because our dog (miniature schnauzer) lost her tag just as quick as she did with this ring by pulling it out just like the ones that come with a pet tag. She is an older dogs so rough housing is out of the question with her doing such & causing it to be broken like that. It might work just fine for your needs but it did not for us.
