Maidenform Women's Take Inches Off - Unitard Bodysuit

I'm kind of a strange sizing because I have wide hips and a large bust but a small waist (classic hourglass) so I chose a medium to fit my waist. I'm glad that i did because the tightest part of this (by design) is around the waist. If you look closely at the pictures you can see that it's a thicker fabric on the body of the garment in a swimsuit shape. This fabric is less flexible and is the part that had the strongest hold, while the legs are thinner and stretchier and have less of a shaping action. It's actually incredibly comfortable. The legs aren't too tight on me and really the thinner fabric on the legs works most to smooth rather than heavy duty shaping - so if you're looking for something that will shape your legs most, there is probably a better product out there for you. I just like the legs to get rid of thigh chafing and make it more comfortable. The shaping on the waist is great, though. It comes up nice and high at the back so there is no flab caught in a space between your bra strap and the shaper. The straps are very soft and comfortable which I am endlessly relieved by because I've had very uncomfortable ones in the past. They also don't cut into my breasts to give your four boobs which I was worried about as a 30G size since these things aren't really built for me. The wide v cut of it really comfortable and flattering, giving a little bit of support without being restricting. My only problem is that it's a little difficult to get the tight and inflexible waist part to pull over my hips. It's not too stressful but I was geniuinely worried that I had the wrong size before I managed it, then it fit perfectly once it was on. It could be a problem if you have particularly wide hips. Also, the sides of the 'swimsuit' thicker part are quite high so you may not like it if you carry weight low on your hips. I love it, so comfortable and really smoothes everything out and helps to hold in my belly. I could have paid three or four times the price for something like this so I'm really glad I chose this one.

Very comfortable and gives firm support and a smoother figure. However, like others have said, gusset is SO small and you get wet going to the toilet no matter what position or how you try to hold the material. I've increased the size by unpicking the stitching and sewing it - it's botched, but works. A real shame as this is a lovely slimming suit.

Fits tight - hard to get on but only tales a few seconds. Then your body looks great in all your clothes. Going to the loo is a challenge as it takes a minute to get off and on again but it's a small price to pay for a great figure. It's comfortable to wear. Can feel a little hot but that's to be expected as it is not flimsy material - it's great quality. I think its perfect in every way. It gives you a great shape and is convenient and comfortable in all aspects of it's shape and design. It also holds your bust and buttocks nicely instead of squashing them.

Rest of body great but having just an opening was awful to use

Bought to wear under fitted dress. It is perfect, as other reviews say this doesn’t suck you in but gives a smooth look, doesn’t push bits out in other places like some do. I’m a 12 (with some wobbly bits) & bought medium, it stayed in place all day, tightest part is around waist to under bust which was great. It’s quite long in body so needed to put straps to shortest adjustment, plus it comes up quite high at back which I altered to suit dress. As others have said the opening for toilet purposes is a bit tricky to get hang of but I managed without any mishaps - it wouldn’t be too difficult to remove but I didn’t want to be stripping off each time. I’m very happy with this item & think I’ll be getting another in black :) Material is strong enough to pull up without risk of ripping, which I’ve done in past with the more expensive brand...

It definitely does the job, stretches well, provides support and a more smooth shape, makes you a dress size smaller (so bear that in mind as I only just got away with the dress I ordered), prevented chub rub, and having an open bust was a must due to the dress I was wearing so I could wear my own bra. The material was pretty breathable and straps over the arms prevented any rolling issues. I forgot I was wearing it most of the time. Now the massive issue with it which is why I have given it 3 stars, is the slit in the crotch! It's not hygienic at all, and incredibly hard to pee in without going on your hand or on the body suit and without being too crude, that's all you can do in this because the slit is too short. I got tired of fully undressing to go to the loo, so by the end of the night I took it off. So by all means, buy this as it does the job, but pack some shewees!

I have tried quite a few shapewear bodies but I find this the best one & very comfortable (as comfortable as shapewear can be). The fabric is so thin that there is no cutting in on the thighs. Unlike a lot of modern shapewear it doesn't seem to lift your behind - which I am really pleased with. If I wanted my behind to stick up and out then I wouldn't be looking at underwear that is supposed to suck it all in! This squashes everything in so gave me the slimmest profile of all the shapewear I have tried - some of it near £100 so this is a bargain. The only criticism I have (hence the 4 stars) is that the super slimming band that you can see in the pic forms a pant shape within the body is quite high cut - therefore if you have any extra bits of fat on the hips (love handles I guess) then these aren't held in as much as the area above - so it can give bulges here. If the super power band section wasn't cut so high this wouldn't happen. A small gripe really as everywhere else is held in beautifully.

Aussitôt reçu, aussitôt mis! J'avais peur qu'il soit difficile à mettre mais pas du tout, il est bien adapté à ma taille. J'hésitais à l'acheter, je pensais qu'il allait comprimer ma poitrine mais non. Il ne fait aucune démarcation, c'est comme une seconde peau. C'est magique, on ne voit plus mes bourrelets! Je suis 100% satisfaite. Le seul hic mais c'est pareil pour tous les body, aller aux toilettes. Il a une fente à ce niveau mais pas très pratique quand même.
