The book is an enticement to begin reconnecting to nature, life and the past in whatever way or to whatever degree you choose. There are many pictures to provide visual images. There are all kinds of unexpected suggestions: how to make willow furniture, how to add frills to an outpost or backyard getaway, how to whistle, recipes, backpacking tips, safety tips, stories. The first things I plan to try are the veggie muffins, the various trail mix items and the grass whistling and I am now inspired to look for ways to add "glam" to my outdoor life.

Ok, I am not sure I know why I was drawn to this book, but I was.... and It turned out to be a "feast for the eyes". This book will feed your creative side..... look carefully at every picture!

If you love glamping, you will love this book! It has a huge variety of ideas for making your camping experience more interesting. I read it cover to cover like a novel, but it is a practical guide for all kinds of ideas that go with glamorous camping.

So many ideas to enjoy the outdoors in a more genteel way. My husband gets a kick out of the way that I bring color, comfort and the touches of home to our outdoors adventures! Step by step directions are great for getting your feet wet in the building of projects....Thanks!

I have enjoyed this book. Ideas and instructions for outdoor areas and furniture and decorating. I love that she is a strong woman who believes in women. Her words are spiritual naturalist and she has ideas for every outdoor area no matter how big or small.I highly reccommend this book.

I loved this book. I bought two , one for me and one for my daughter. Love all the Mary Jane stuff from magazine to bedding at Belks. I share her ideas and life style with a lot of my friends. what a great life she has had.

Lots of kids activities in here. I gave it away, because I didn't have any kids!

I came across one of her "Mary Jane's Farm" magazines at work and instantly fell in love with her outlook on life and her devotion to natural foods. She gives out practical information & makes me dream of getting away in my own little trailer!
